6 - Staring at Her

"This time, you'll eat what I made." The man walked in the door with a blank look on his face, and said, "Don't attempt to flee from me once more or you might regret it." Its voice cautions her.

She couldn't help but wonder, "W-why did you save me?" It's up to him whether he snaps at her once more and tosses the food tray into the air.

"Simple..." he said, placing the food on her bed. His gaze fixated on her. "I'm a sucker for dirty games."

She burst out crying. Here we go with the tears again. Why can't she accept that the man standing in front of her is heartless and insane?

"A man like you... You have no heart!"

"Yeah, I am," he simply replied, "What's new?"

She couldn't help but say, "You're nuts, Mr. Malcogn. What's new is that you're a man with a splinter in his head! Why don't you try going to a mental hospital and getting treated for your insanity?!"
