Luring Lucifer

Summer POV

The joy my mum displays is contagious. She is beaming and we all feel happy for her. I know she believed her father had died almost two decades ago. To see him alive and well like this, must be quite full filling. One thing that nags me a little is his age. The man looks as if he is my father's age. As if his ageing halted decades ago.

I cannot detect his aura, which is quite unnerving for me. A person who can conceal his or her aura is intimidating. This leaves me wondering if he is hiding a lot from us. My mother seems unconcerned about it, which can only mean she is used to it. Grandfather looks at all of us before speaking as if he just read my mind.

"I know, some of you want to hear my story, but unfortunately, you will have to wait. Selena my darling daughter, I owe you an explanation, but like the others, you will have to wait as well. Granddaughter dearest, my age bothers you much and I will let you in on a secret. Your moon goddess Selene,
