Ruby and I did not fall asleep immediately, but I did not discuss the issues with the council Law any further. I understood her point of view, and I did not want to force her to see things my way. We slept in the early morning hours while watching a movie, and I did not intend to do any work the next day.

"The guys have come to check on you twice already. Your uncle is eager to see you," She said, and I got up and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and returned. Hugging Ruby from behind, I kissed my mark on her neck, and she giggled.

"I decided to cook. I missed it," she said, looking at the spread. It looked precisely like Livingston.
