Chapter 13: Jealousy

Riccardo POV:

She was scared. I could feel it. I wasn't that clueless to not notice the change in her attitude after I took out my gun. I didn't really mean to scare her. The gun really messed with my posture when I sat. It was pinching my back. Initially, I had no intention to show it to her. But then again, she would see it anyway if I am to take a shower later. She would freak out even more if she saw it without me around. She probably would think that I might try to kill her. The last thing I want was to come out of the bathroom and get hit by some object from her. So, it was better that she knew it this way. Save me a lot of unnecessary trouble and she too looked more obedient now.

Cassandra told me to go take a shower. Well, I guessed that was her hint that I'm allowed to stay for the night. I left her alone in the kitchen and went to her bedroom, using her personal bathroom.
