Thirty One.

"Are you okay, ma'am?" The nurse checking up on Isabella asked her with a smile.

Isabella had just woken up a few minutes ago. She was surprised when she saw that Seth didn't leave her to get some sleep at home. When she complained that she was hungry, he promised to get her something and went out immediately.

"I feel better and lighter now that I don't have to carry two humans in my stomach and look like a hippopotamus." She joked with the nurse.

The two of them shared a laugh and Isabella clutched her stomach a little.

"Are you okay?" The nurse asked her.

"I'm fine. I guess it's just the uterus contracting back to its right size." She assured the woman. "I guess I just have to minimize how loud I laugh for the time being." She chuckled softly.

"Oh, that's right," the nurse supported her. "I have to check on other mothers in the ward too. But don't worry, I'll be back to check on you later in the day."

"Oh, okay then. Thank you for checking on me."
