Chapter 7: We Can Bathe Together Today

Crazy.

Isabella Gomez clearly felt a tinge of desire towards the man in front of her, emanating from his masculine charm. She thought she must be going crazy!

If Jonathan Sanders knew that she had the fleeting urge to kiss him just now, what would he think?

Coming back to her senses, Isabella Gomez quickly slapped away Jonathan Sanders's fingers that were holding her chin.

"What are you doing? I...I'm asking you a question, who was that woman here today..."

Her face turned even redder; it was unclear whether she was questioning him or questioning herself.

"I don't have a girlfriend, nor do I have a wife," Jonathan Sanders replied straightforwardly, giving her an answer.

But what kind of answer was that? He still didn't clarify the identity of the woman who came today.

To hide her blushing face due to the ambiguous atmosphere, Isabella Gomez found a spot farthest from Jonathan Sanders and sat down.

"I don't know what happened between you and your family, causing you to avoid talking about it, but if they still love you, please cherish them. Don't wait until you lose them to regret it." As Isabella Gomez said this, a hint of loneliness flashed in her eyes.

It seemed like she was advising Jonathan Sanders, but in reality, she was revealing her own experiences.

Jonathan Sanders turned his head and looked at her seriously.

Isabella Gomez's life seemed not as clear as her eyes; she had secrets hidden in her heart.

Seeing that Jonathan Sanders remained silent, Isabella Gomez frowned. "Forget it, you won't explain anything to me anyway. Do whatever you want."

Annoyed by his silence, Isabella Gomez stood up. "I'm going to take a shower and go to bed!"

She no longer cared, nor did she want to know who that beautiful stranger was who came during the day.

Suddenly, her arm was grabbed by Jonathan Sanders.

Jonathan Sanders pulled her forcefully towards him.

Unprepared, Isabella Gomez lost her balance and fell directly into Jonathan Sanders's arms...

Looking up, she met his gaze.

"You're sick..." Isabella Gomez felt inexplicably nervous looking at his face, even her voice changed.

"Her name is Alice, she's a friend. I don't have any family that loves me, so there's no room for regret," Jonathan Sanders said solemnly.

Isabella Gomez realized he had pulled her back to explain.

Remembering how she had lectured him just now, Isabella Gomez felt a bit embarrassed.

"Jonathan, I didn't mean to—"

As Isabella Gomez was about to get up from him, Jonathan Sanders suddenly reached out and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Jonathan Sanders's masculine scent surrounded Isabella Gomez from all directions. If the previous pulling and tugging had already crossed a line, then this embrace was completely off-limits!

Holding her waist, the sweet and fragrant scent of her filled his nose and heart. His eyes took on a fiery hue as he looked at Isabella Gomez, just one step away from burning with passion.

The atmosphere suddenly became strange, and Isabella Gomez felt both unfamiliar and scared. Instinctively, she clutched his arm, but found that it only intensified the ambiguity, so she quickly let go.

Jonathan Sanders slowly guided her hand to his collar, pressing it against his solid muscles through his clothes.

Satisfied with her blushing face, he slightly parted his lips. "How about we shower together?"

Hearing this, Isabella Gomez snapped out of her daze and pushed Jonathan Sanders away, standing up abruptly. The force was so strong that it made his wheelchair slide back several steps. "What nonsense are you spouting!"

Isabella Gomez's face was as red as a cooked lobster, her gaze wandering, unsure whether to look at Jonathan Sanders or not.

She felt she must have gone mad, to be tempted by him!

It had to be said, Jonathan Sanders's handsome and deep features, along with his well-defined abs, were indeed very tempting.

"We're both adults. If we need something, we can satisfy each other's needs."

Compared to Isabella Gomez's awkwardness, Jonathan Sanders appeared calm and composed.

The ambiguous atmosphere was shattered by Jonathan Sanders's extremely pragmatic words.

Isabella Gomez's expression quickly returned to normal. So, the floating romantic tension was simply because he wanted to fulfill adult physiological needs.

Men's thoughts are actually quite simple, and Jonathan Sanders's were even more straightforward. Whether physical or psychological, if he had a need, he would express it directly.

It had nothing to do with emotions.

"Come out and take care of me," Jonathan Sanders said. He had intended to speak to her nicely, but his words came out habitually harsh.

Even he found it unbelievable that he would be so formal in front of this woman.

"Get lost!" Isabella Gomez, hearing this, was thoroughly enraged, roaring the word "get lost" with intense emotion.

This man was too shameless!

To suddenly say such explicit things and then ask her to serve him? What did he take her for?

Jonathan Sanders frowned. Isabella Gomez was the first person to dare tell him to "get lost."

He should have been furious, but strangely, he wasn't. Instead, he stared intently at the door, as if trying to see through it and find out what Isabella Gomez was doing inside.

Half an hour later, Isabella Gomez opened the door to wash up, thinking that Jonathan Sanders should be asleep by now.

But to her surprise, he was sitting outside her room with a laptop.

Seeing her come out, Jonathan Sanders immediately lifted his gaze and fixed it on Isabella Gomez.

"You scared me. What are you doing sitting here?" Isabella Gomez, after stewing in her room for a while, had calmed down a bit.

Actually, Jonathan Sanders wasn't entirely wrong. It was normal for a man to have physiological needs when alone with a woman. He was just being honest. Isabella Gomez, touching her conscience, felt she shouldn't bully a disabled person, even if he was shameless.

Still, she wasn't that kind of woman, so even though her anger had subsided, her attitude toward him wasn't as good as before.

Jonathan Sanders closed his laptop and rubbed his temples. Working while keeping an eye on her had left him tired. With a hoarse voice, he said, "You finally came out. Help me take a shower."
