Chapter One - The Accidental Kiss

Sienna’s whole body was on fire as she felt every muscle of his ripped hot length pressed against hers while they swayed to the pulsating music in the background.  His arm was clamped around her waist, while his other hand caressed her bare thighs, stroking upwards, taking liberties. She had never been touched that way in her entire twenty-two years of life. Suddenly she felt his mouth sucking a sweet spot at her neck. Her inebriated mind lost control and she whirled around and wrapped her arms around his neck. Lucas crushed her to his body, grinding against her with need. Sienna could feel his hardness poking into her, eliciting a strange throbbing deep inside her core.

Not having any control over her senses, Sienna tangled her fingers into his hair and pulled his head towards hers. She crashed her lips to his, gliding her tongue over his warm, soft lips. In her sane mind, she would never have had the courage or urge to take such a bold step but then alcohol can make one do strange things. Lucas froze for a second but then who could resist this goddess whom he had been watching all the time since the minute she had walked into his uncle’s nightclub. She was breath-taking and stood out in her red, short, clinging dress, leaving nothing to the imagination. His hawk-like eyes had been watching her, wanting to ravish her but she was with her friends and he didn't get a chance.

Now that he had his chance, he groaned, pulling her closer and they soon became engulfed in the throes of passion. Sienna felt a surge of tingling warmth take over her already euphoric senses.

Lucas dominated the kiss, holding onto her head to keep her steady so that he could deepen the kiss. He plunged his hot tongue into her already parted mouth and tasted her sweetness. He had been wanting to do this all evening. His hungry mouth devoured her, eliciting an equally passionate response from her. Both of them were oblivious to everything around them except the wild and intense passion that they shared on the dance floor. The whole universe became non-existent and the only thing that mattered was the wild and hungry kiss that they couldn’t seem to control. Sienna had no idea what was driving her. She surrendered herself for the first time in her life, that too to a complete stranger. Lucas couldn’t get enough of her intoxicating sweetness and deepened the kiss more. It was only when Lucas’s phone vibrated in his chest pocket for the tenth time did they break apart.

“F*ck!” swore Lucas as he checked the caller ID, releasing her reluctantly. Then he looked at her with fire in his eyes. “I’ll be right back, don’t go,” he pleaded, before going away to take the call. Sienna froze, standing transfixed to the spot, realizing what exactly she had done. She had kissed a stranger! Her first kiss! How could she be so callous? How could she be so desperate? Oh, God! What Lucas must be thinking of her?

“What are you doing here all alone, Sien?” asked Eva.  “C’mon, Alex is dropping us home,” she said, pulling Sienna along with her towards the door. Sienna followed her like a puppy, her heart and mind numb with guilt thinking about what she had done. The first thing that came to her mind was how would Roman react if he heard? She sighed thinking about her soon-to-be fiancé, Roman Drexler who was the son of her dad’s business partner, Andrew Drexler. Andrew Drexler died last year of brain stroke and ever since Roman had taken over the reins of their pharmaceutical company.

When her dad, George Hensley was diagnosed with cancer seven months back, he was in his last stage. In his desperation, he had placed her in the hands of Roman who’s eight years older than her. Roman promised her dad that he would marry her and take care of her all his life but Sienna found him too cold and boring. He was old-fashioned, orthodox, and didn’t want her to continue working at the hospital after marriage. Sienna hated him but he was extremely serious regarding his promise to her dad and was determined to follow it as long as he was alive. Her dad eventually breathed his last and ever since Roman had taken over her life. She had to escape to Eva's apartment to avoid moving in with Roman.

“What’s got you so worked up?” asked Eva as they settled into the backseat of Alex’s car along with a drunk Skylar. Alyssa was unconscious on the passenger seat and Alex was too angry to even say a word to any of them. His friend, Ashton had whisked Hayley away with him already.

“I’ll tell you later,” said Sienna, eager to close her eyes and block out the reality.

After ten minutes, Alex dropped them off at Eva’s apartment. They staggered off towards their door and Eva unlocked it with difficulty. After going inside, they somehow went to their respective rooms to change and finally hit the bed.

At Phoenix

Lucas Donnelly disconnected the call and rushed back to the dance floor of Phoenix where he had left the beautiful woman, Sienna who had kissed him so wantonly. The kiss had blown his mind off and his whole body was alive and desperate for a repeat. His eyes scanned the whole place but he couldn’t find her anywhere. It seemed as if she had completely vanished into the air in just a matter of five minutes. Cursing his brother, Marcus for calling him at an undesired time, he rushed upstairs to look for her but she wasn’t there either.

He rushed downstairs and out of the main door but there was no sign of her. Lucas clutched at his hair with frustration. How could she disappear in just five minutes? He rushed to the parking lot but she wasn’t there either. Lucas had never been so worked up and desperate in his entire twenty-eight years of life. He walked dejectedly back to the nightclub, extremely disappointed with his bad luck. For the first time, he was interested in someone and now he had lost her. All he knew was her first name, Sienna! How the hell would he ever find her now?

“Hey, dude! Where did you rush off to?” asked his best friend, Daniel Spencer. They usually caught up every weekend at Phoenix. It was a ritual that had been going on for years.

“I was looking for someone,'' shrugged Lucas. He couldn’t tell Daniel the truth as he wouldn’t stop bombarding him with questions. They all knew him too well. They knew that he didn’t believe in love and relationships and neither did he trust any woman. He steered clear of them as much as he could. At twenty-eight, he was a very focused, hard-working, and self-made man who was married to his technology-based business, Donnelly Technology Corp., known for its innovative home as well as industrial products. He had no time for flings and affairs as his multinational, billion-dollar worth business was all he had time for.

“Someone? Is that a he or a she?” Asked Jason Stewart, another close friend of his. Lucas shrugged in a non-committal way.

“Inconsequential, dude. I’ll call it a night then. I’ll catch up with you next week. I have a morning flight to LA tomorrow, “ he announced.

“Right, see you, Lucas, “ said Wyatt Blackwell in a lazy drawl. He was too drunk to even know what was happening around him. Lucas waved at his three friends and left as fast as he could. He knew that Daniel was bursting with curiosity but he wasn’t in a mood to answer his questions at the moment.

He drove to Battery Park, Manhattan, straight into the basement parking of the condominium where he owned a luxurious penthouse. He was deep in thought as he punched in the security code. The door opened and he walked into his home in a daze. Kicking the door shut, he sank into his plush sofa, closing his eyes and imagining Sienna, reliving the kiss. He really had gone crazy! His lips still tingled from that passionate kiss that he shared with the hottest girl on earth. Sienna!

“Sienna,” he breathed, “What have you done to me?” he mumbled to himself. Her name sounded so good on his lips, almost like an endearment.

“I have to find her. I can’t survive this way!” said a determined Lucas. He didn’t want to go into the consequences of his actions. He knew that his life was a mess but at the moment all he wanted was to hunt down the woman of his dreams. Sienna!

Getting up, he fished out his mobile phone and called the only person who could help him. His Private Investigator, Stuart Blair who had helped him many times before. Lucas called him and gave him details of Sienna and how she looked.

“I need more information about the girl, Mr. Donnelly, “ said Stuart.

“I don’t know much. Today was her birthday and she was there at the Phoenix in the evening,” said Lucas. “Can you get hold of the CCTV footage? Do anything Stuart, just find me the girl,” said Lucas with desperation in his tone.

“Okay. Can you give me a day or two please?” Asked Stuart.

“Sure. I’m returning to New York after three days. I want a full report on her by then, “ said Lucas impatiently.

“Done,” promised Stuart.
