Sabrina woke up with a splitting headache. Groaning in pain, she forcibly pulled her body up and sat on the bed.

“Ah! My head hurts!” She grumbled and touched her head.

However, her body stiffened when she felt something slowly crawling under the blanket and snaking around her waist.

Holding her breath, she carefully lifted the blanket only to find out that she was not wearing any clothes. In an instant, her body froze seeing a muscled arm resting on her naked torso.

“Good morning, wife,” a warm breath fanned her left ear.

Her eyes almost popped out of its socket.

Immobile, her eyes were fixated at the unfamiliar arm that was comfortably wrapped around her waist.

“Still sleepy?” A deep and raspy voice entered her ears.

Blinking several times, she finally snapped out of her trance and almost instantly, she hastily lifted the blanket to cover herself while trying to scoot aside. But unfortunately, not even an inch was she able to move as he tightened his hold around her and was not even content with it that he pulled her against his hard chest.

“Where do you think you’re going, hhm?”

His lips touched the sensitive spot on the back of her ear that sent shivers down her spine.

She wanted to scream as the sensation was very new to her, adding the fact that she could feel his nakedness against her skin under the blanket.

‘This should be just a dream!’ she convinced herself while shutting her eyes tightly.

She then started counting inwardly, expecting that the scene would change just like what usually happens whenever she was dreaming. But to her disbelief, until she reached the hundred, nothing had changed. Still, she was in the same place and the same scenario.

“Sleep more. I know your head is aching and your whole body is sore,” he said.

Her body stiffened.

Shaking her head, she started counting again while convincing herself that she was still in the same dream. However, his tight hold and warm breath felt too real as what he told her about her headache and sore body was true.

Her body shivered when she felt his soft lips touch her bare shoulder. Instantly, her eyes snapped open as her heart started thumping wildly.

‘No. This can’t be real!’ her mind screamed.

She did not want to accept the fact that she was in bed with a stranger while fully naked. She was not that kind of girl. And she knew she would never cheat on Anthon as she loved him too much to even glance at any man other than her boyfriend!

Shutting her eyes tightly once again, she prayed once again that it was all just a freaking dream.

“Please wake up!” She muttered loudly.

“This is not a dream, Sabrina,” the guy stated.

She could hear the loud sound of her heart shattering into pieces. It was as if all her hopes and dreams just snatched away from her at that moment.

Slowly, she opened her eyes and there she saw a crystal chandelier hanging on the dark blue ceiling.

Her chest pounded loudly as she knew it was not their room. Her apartment was all white and too plain with a little to almost no furniture.

“Do you remember what happened last night?”

Pursing her lips tightly, she did not answer.

Her mind was still processing it all and still in denial that she was in that situation.

“Your boyfriend dumped you and proposed to someone else,” he continued.

Suddenly, her head snapped at him as her eyes instantly moistened upon hearing his words.

That’s when she finally saw his face. However, her eyes were too blurry to see him clearly as the scenario in Anthon's new office immediately flashed in her mind.

Her body went cold. Suddenly, she felt numb.

Clenching her fists, she finally remembered that she went to the bar to drown herself with alcohol to forget about Anthon’s cheating and betrayal.

“How much?” she suddenly asked.

She felt the guy's hold loosened and she took that opportunity to get out of the bed. Looking around, she searched for her clothes and quickly dressed up.

With her back facing the bed, she took out all her cash from her bag and placed it on the table before she dashed towards the door without saying a word.

Although she could not remember everything that happened last night as she was too drunk, she knew it was all a mistake. It was the first time she ever got drunk and she had no idea how she was when intoxicated.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Her feet got rooted on the spot as she was suddenly trapped by his arms once again.

“You think I want your money?” He asked in a deep voice.

Her body shivered at the coldness of his tone. But she held his arms firmly and tried to pull it off of her but to no avail.

“That’s all the money I have. Let me go now, please..” she pleaded.

“Do you remember what we did last night?”

Immediately, she shook her head in response. She actually did not want to know what they did that night as she already had an idea based on the soreness she felt down there.

“Let me remind you,” he said.

“No!” She exclaimed. She then shook her ahead again profusely, “It’s just a mistake. I was very drunk and didn’t know what I was doing. Please, just let me leave in peace,” her voice trembled.

The guy’s hold slowly loosened until he completely let her go.

She let out a sigh of relief as she thought he was finally letting her leave that room. However, his next word stopped her from moving forward.

“Is that what you are going to say to your husband?”

“What is happening to me?! Why am I crying?!” she asked loudly while wiping her tears away. Her lips protruded as she kept wiping her tears. Then, she looked around the hospital room. However, upon realizing that she was alone, her tears poured down again until she could not help it anymore and cried in full blown. “H-hey! What happened?” The door opened and someone rushed in. Sabrina lifted her head and saw that it was Joseph, Gabriel's friend and Elizabeth's sister. “Where's Gabby?” she queried. It's just a few minutes after he left but she wanted him to go back already to see him again. Meanwhile, the guy seemed puzzled as he looked at her, “He went out to get your food..” he muttered. Her eyebrows creased. She couldn't understand herself. She was well aware that she asked him to get the green mangoes and rice for her, but for some reason, she was quite mad that he left her alone there. It felt like she already missed him ‘No way. Why would she miss him?’ she shook her h

“What happened?” Sabrina’s forehead creased as soon as Gabriel entered the room. His face was dark as if he just came from a brawl and not from the Doctor’s office. “Is it bad news?” She queried as her heart started beating wildly. What if she was terminally ill? By the way her husband looked, it seemed like there was no good news that was going to come out from his mouth. Meanwhile, Gabriel let out a heavy sigh. He sat down on the edge of the bed and gently caressed her hair. “How are you feeling?” He queried instead of answering her question. The creases on Sabrina’s forehead deepened, thinking he was avoiding the question. It just made her even more nervous!“I don't feel good until you answer me honestly,” she said while throwing him a sharp look. Gabriel tilted his head. His expression changed and became soft. “What am I going to say?” He inquired. Sabrina folded her hands across her chest and glared at him, “What did the doctor tell you? Am I sick? Don’t lie to me! I be

Gabriel leaned down and kissed her forehead, “Don't worry. You are very healthy,” he cooed. “Harold will stay with you while I talk to the doctor, hhm? I will be back shortly..” He watched as Sabrina nodded before he leaned in again and kissed her on the lips. Reluctantly, he pulled away and hastily walked out of the room before he changed his mind and just stayed with her.“Where are you going?” Harold asked as he found him in the hallway talking with their men. “Stay with Sabrina for awhile, I just need to talk to her doctor,” Gabriel muttered then walked past him without waiting for his friend's response. Gabriel already had an idea what the doctor was going to tell him, however, he did not want to expect too much, hence he kept that idea at the back of his head. As he was walking briskly to the doctor’s office, he kept his face void of emotion and his heart at bay. “Come in,” he heard someone say as he knocked on the door. Taking a deep breath, Gabriel turned the knob and e

Good morning,” Gabriel greeted softly. Sabrina's eyebrows deeply furrowed as she forced her eyes to open. She tried to sit up but Gabriel quickly put his hands on her shoulders, stopping her from moving up. “Stay still. You haven't recovered yet,” he said calmly. ‘Recover?’ that word repeated in her head. Then, everything that happened flashed back in her mind in an instant. Her palm immediately went to her forehead and felt a little bumped on it. “Where am I?” she queried. Her heart was beating so loud at the thought that the men had successfully captured her. But then as she looked up, her eyes laid on Gabriel's handsome face which immediately made her calm down. Sabrina's lips parted slightly as she stared at her husband. “Where are we?” she asked again, this time softly. “Hospital,” Gabriel answered curtly. He sat on the edge of the bed and gently caressed her hair, “You passed out after your car crashed on mine” Her eyebrows knitted together as she tried that moment. Ye

Gabriel's jaw clenched as he tightened his hold on Sabrina's hand. His eyes never left his eyes, afraid that she might disappear if he did even just for a second. “Gab,” Harold and Joseph entered the private room where Sabrina was admitted. As if he did not hear anything, Gabriel did not move and kept staring at his wife. “The doctor said she is fine. There's nothing to worry about her anymore. Her CT scan result is clear. She bumped her head on the steering wheel, but it was not the reason she fell unconscious..” Harold explained. “She was just stressed and anxious,” his friend added. Gabriel let out a heavy sigh. To be honest, he had never felt so scared like that before. He found out that he had fear and that was losing Sabrina, the woman he loved. “As for the other test, it will come once the doctor arrives,” his friend continued. His eyes squinted as he stared at Sabrina who was lying on the bed, still unconscious. She didn't look like she'd gotten into an accident as he

“WHAT THE FVCK DID YOU JUST SAY?!” Gabriel's voice thundered in his car. He hit the steering wheel so hard which made his car honk. That was the worst news he had ever heard! He knew Elizabeth was mentally challenged. But he still had hoped that she would recover and there was still even just a little sanity left in her brain. However, hearing that from her own brother just made him realize that the woman was fvcking hopeless! Who in the right mind would pay anyone to put anyone into an accident?! And with a fvcking truck?! He was certain that woman wanted his wife dead! “You should go and start hiding your fvcking sister, Joseph!” Gabriel exclaimed then immediately hung up without bidding goodbye. The lights turned green and the car in front of him started moving. Gabriel started his car while his other hand was busy calling Sabrina. She didn't answer. “Answer the call please!” he muttered as he pressed on the gas pedal, accelerating this car speed as fast as he could. Gabr
