Chapter:- 15

Amelia crunches down next to her pup's, not liking how quite they became. She knows that the incident was traumatizing for them.

"Are my hearts hurt somewhere" Amelia asks again, making sure that the pup's is really unharmed. Both Alec and Ethan look towards each other shakes their head before Alec asks.

"Where are we going mommy?" Both of their eyes are glassy and cheeks red, evidence of his previous crying.

Amelia would also like to know the answer to that question. It doesn't help that it's already past six in the evening, the sky will be completely dark in half an hour. It's the end of September, the weather is still quite warm through the day, and the night is bearable, but it will just keep getting colder as winter approaches.
