Mom naturally didn't believe Dad would cheat, but hearing James briefly explain that Nina was fighting with another girl at the campus, she still rushed over at once.

Nina and I were finally pulled apart by our classmates after a while.

James stepped forward with a frown and asked what happened.

Nina, full of grievances, immediately started complaining.

"Mr. Hale, I didn't want to fight her, but she's so vile that I couldn't hold back! You would get angry too if the mistress who destroyed your family flaunted herself in front of you!"

She casually picked up a photo from the ground and handed it to James.

After looking at the photo, James frowned. He turned to me and was about to admonish me when I coldly spoke up. "Why don't you check my enrollment information first?"

James, though doubtful, grabbed his phone.

After pulling up my student information and taking a look at it, his eyes widened in disbelief.

He looked back and forth between his phone and Nina. Then, his expression turned cold.

"What the heck are you doing?! You're maliciously slandering another student without knowing the truth! This is a crime, do you understand?!"

Nina didn't expect James to suddenly turn on her. She looked at him in disbelief.

"What are you talking about? You must be mistaken.

"She ruined my family, yet you're accusing me of maliciously slandering her? I saw her seduce my dad with my own eyes! That's the truth!

"Did she blackmail you or bribe you? Are you scared of offending her because you know she's entangled with my dad?"

After seeing my enrollment information, James naturally knew I wasn't a mistress, but the real daughter of my father, Lewis Gaston.

Previously, he thought the reason the family background written in Nina's enrollment information was different from her claim that she was Lewis Gaston's daughter was because of some typical wealthy family shenanigans.

But now that he saw me, he immediately figured out the truth.

This was clearly a case of the fraud encountering the real deal!

Nina, the fake heiress, had crossed paths with the real Miss Gaston!

But Nina was oblivious to this and continued to argue.

"Remember, I'm Lewis Gaston's daughter, and you're just an insignificant counselor!

"What good does it do you to protect her? Do you really think my dad would get into a conflict with my mom over her?

"I'm telling you, once my dad dumps her, you'll lose your job too! My mom will deal with you when she gets here!"

James was enraged by her threats. He wanted to correct her, but didn't even know where to start.

However, Nina thought James's momentary silence was a sign of yielding.

Feeling triumphant, she called her sidekicks over for another round against me.

Just as Nina and her sidekicks were trying to surround me again, my mom rushed in with a group of people.

Nina was still a little wary of James at first, but the moment she saw my mom, her fear dissipated. She rushed into my mom's arms and immediately started complaining.

"Mom, that girl seduced my brother, stole my bag, and now she's trying to seduce Dad too!"

Mom, following the direction Nina pointed, saw me surrounded by Nina's minions. Her eyes widened in disbelief.

However, Nina was too busy complaining to notice. She grabbed a photo from the table and smugly presented it to my mom.

"Mom, look! I saw her sitting on Dad's lap while he's feeding her fruit! She's trying to ruin our family! You must teach her a lesson!"

Her string of nonsense made even my usually good-tempered mom uncharacteristically angry.

She pushed Nina away and snapped, "Nina, what are you talking about? She's my daughter!"
