Xavier buried himself in his work until after midnight then went to bed. He did not go back to check if his mate had left or not, he couldn’t bring himself to, even when he went to bed, he couldn’t sleep and kept wondering if she was still around or not. He tossed and turned the whole night sleep not coming to him. He could not understand because he was tired and needed the rest.
