"Hmm, did anything happen recently?"Brandon asked breaking the sudden silence that fell between us, Grace and Mum had joined us leaving the kids with Claire,

"None that I know of, she never complained of anything" Jay answered lost in thoughts, I was about to speak up when he shot up,

"Wait..." he snapped a look of realization on his face,

"I overheard her conversation with Mrs. Smith over the weekend, something about her dad threatening her" he blurted,

"Threatening her? Why will her dad threaten her?""Brandon asked,

"It can't be, that Man adores his daughter, he always has," Jace said,

"That's what he wanted you all to think, that man is nothing but a monster" Jay sneered anger filling his voice as he spoke about a man I didn't know about until now,
