Hearing the nurses chattering in the hallway, Vivian finally learned the news: the world-renowned neurosurgeon, Dr. Seth, was coming to East Coast.

Ever since her grandfather fell into a coma, she had been in constant communication with the hospital. Their current medical resources could only maintain his vital signs. No one knew when or if he would ever wake up.

To truly figure out what had happened to her grandfather, someone like Dr. Seth would have to examine him. She had long wanted to bring him in, but without the right connections and with the Wens in decline, it was impossible.
