Wendy takes a deep breath. “I know you guys hate each other, I can see it in your eyes, but try to get along. I can’t let my bestie and Lucas glare at each other all the time.”
“I don’t hate him. I just don’t want to talk to him,” I say trying to sound unbothered, but failed. I knew this talk would happen but I didn’t want to endure it. I’m not a rude person, but Lucas sends out kidnapper vibes.
“At least try to have a conversation with him every time you see him. He’s not that bad,” She looks at him but quickly looks at me. “Just bad enough.”
“I’m not bad. I did nothing to you,” Lucas blurts out. Wendy glares at him. She hates when people talk back, especially people who disagree with her every word.
