Chapter 23 Lucas

And here I thought college would be fun to attend again. Wendy is barely home. I only knew her for almost a month and now I feel so incomplete without her. It must be her annoying traits that make me feel complete. That has to be it. 

Veronica stays to entertain me from time to time. She said everything in this house is ‘technically’ mine until I move out. Although I don’t believe her, she tends to talk about her kids and how Wendy lets them do anything here. That’s because Wendy is biased and doesn’t care if I’m bored or not. 

“You look like a sad puppy waiting for its owner. The last time I checked, Wendy gave you a phone. A brand new phone,” Veronica says.

“The last time I checked, she bought it to keep me social. She didn’t tell me the password!” I yell out.
