Amelia’s POV

My heart plummeted as the door flew open.

I braced myself. I could already picture it: the scandal, the whispers. "She’s dating her ex’s uncle?!" "A sister’s revenge for her ruined wedding." The gossip magazines would eat it all up.

But… the room was empty.

Thank God.

Victoria peered around as if someone might be hiding behind a broom. Then she turned slowly, eyes narrowing.

I forced a casual shrug. "See? I told you there was no one there. You two really are paranoid."

"Paranoid, hmm?" Victoria echoed, her voice razor-thin. "Funny how defensive you are for someone who has nothing to hide."

I stiffened, the smile dropping from my face.

"I’m not being defensive," I said, a little too quickly. "You guys were accusing me of hiding a man in a closet! Don’t you think it’s a little unfair to attack me like that?"

Victoria crossed her arms. "I never said anything about a man." She smirked, just slightly. "Interesting that you did."

I scoffed. Tristan said nothing, but the look in

Amelia’s POVHe placed a hand over his heart as if trying to steady it. "Let me make it clear. Publicly. Loudly. No more hiding. No more rumors. No more Sienna overshadowing anything."I stared at him, unsure if this was a grand gesture… or another impulsive attempt to fix a mess with a bigger mess."Amelia," he whispered, eyes locked on mine, "let me prove how much I love you."His voice cracked on love. Damn him.I exhaled hard. "Fine. But this is your last chance, Rowan. I mean it."Relief crashed over his face like a wave. "You won’t regret it. I promise.""Don’t make promises you can’t keep," I muttered. He winced but didn’t argue."Come," he said softly, "have breakfast with me."I didn’t want to. I really didn’t. But he stood there with those bruises from fighting for me—even though I hadn’t wanted that—and the breakfast table set like something out of a home decor magazine.Defeated by my own softness, I sat down with him.And damn it… he had really outdone himself. Croissant

Amelia’s POVJust like that, the fragile ease in my chest tightened into something sharp and painful. The tone of his voice—too casual, too familiar—stung harder than I wanted to admit.I froze in place. I should’ve walked into the kitchen, acted normal, minded my own business. But instead, I stayed half-hidden in the hallway, listening even though every part of me knew I shouldn’t."The gossip news?" Rowan muttered, his brow creasing. "No, I haven’t seen the gossip news. What are they saying now?"My curiosity overpowered my conscience, and I pulled out my phone.Big mistake.Social media was exploding. Article after article filled the screen:"ROWAN LANCASTER PROPOSES TO HIS EMPLOYEE IN BAR DOWNTOWN."The picture attached hit me like a punch. Rowan, bruised and drunk, kneeling in front of me in the bar. His head bowed. My hand gripping his arm.It looked exactly like a proposal. And the comments underneath? They were vicious."This slut again? Isn’t he engaged to Sienna?""The secr

Amelia’s POVOh god. Oh god. Why did I say that? That was stupid and I knew it.Rowan looked at me with so much tenderness it made my chest cave in. We were still half-collapsed across the back seats, our bodies tangled, our breathing uneven."Oh, Amelia…" he murmured, brushing his fingers through my wild, post-ecstasy hair. "You have no idea how happy that makes me. How happy you make me."I forced a tiny, stiff smile. My body was still humming from what we’d just done. But my mind—my rational, inconvenient, loud-as-hell mind—had slammed back online and was screaming "Are you insane?""I should…" I cleared my throat, tugging my dress back over my hips. "I should get us going. Let’s, uh… let’s get you to my place."He just watched me, dreamy smile and all, while I scrambled awkwardly between the seats and into the front. The drive home was a blur. My pulse didn’t settle until I saw the familiar shape of my porch——and the man sitting on it.I jerked to a stop."Are you kidding me?"

Amelia’s POVRowan’s cock pulsed in my mouth, and the precum was gushing out uncontrollably. I couldn’t help the flash of pride in my chest. I was driving him absolutely crazy. His hips bucked to the rhythm of my strokes. His groans kept getting wilder and deeper. He was right on the edge, and I knew I should probably stop. But it was just too addictive to drive him further into delirium.Somewhere deep down, a nagging voice told me this was borderline insanity, that I should stop this right now. But I couldn’t. I was too far gone.Suddenly, Rowan grabbed my hair and gently pulled me away. "Baby. Don’t make me finish yet," he said, his voice a low, breathless rumble. "I wanna make you feel good too."He pulled me back on top of him, and I willingly let him guide me until my pussy hovered over his face. I straddled my knees on either side of him on the lowered car seat.He pulled my hips down until I was riding his mouth. He licked me, teased me, savored me.A deep moan escaped me as

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 168 - Misty Windows

Rowan’s POVOh. Fuck. Her lips were on mine. Her warm, soft bosom pressed against my chest. Her body trembled under my hands like she was fighting herself and losing.I couldn’t believe this was actually happening. She tasted like iced coffee and adrenaline and something uniquely, deliciously her. I swear my entire body was ready to combust right there in the damn passenger seat. She leaned forward, almost instinctively. Her fingers slid up into my hair—tugging just enough to make my pulse trip."Fuck," I whispered against her mouth. "I missed this. I missed you. So damn much."I pulled back for just a second, just long enough to look at her. To really see her. Her flushed cheeks, her parted lips, her chest rising and falling under that dress—God, that dress—that made it impossible to think rationally."Are you sure about this?" I murmured, voice thick, eyes shamelessly drifting down the beautiful line of her cleavage. She let out a shaky breath. "God, don’t ask me that," she whispe

Amelia’s POVI stared down at Rowan—drunk, bruised, and kneeling at my feet like a man whose world had just collapsed. A hollow ache bloomed in my chest. He looked nothing like the powerful CEO who used to terrify entire boardrooms. Nothing like the man who once bent me to his will without even raising his voice.Tonight he wasn’t a giant, or a force, or a storm. He was just… broken. And God help me, pity threaded through my sternum like a stubborn vine. Then I noticed the people around us—phones out, screens glowing, recording every humiliating second.Shit.I couldn’t let him unravel like this. Not in front of strangers. Not like that.I crouched down slightly, lowering my voice. "Rowan, get up. Now. People are filming."He blinked sluggishly, then looked around as though noticing the crowd for the first time. His jaw clenched, humiliation flashing across his bruised face."Don’t embarrass yourself like this," I whispered urgently, slipping a hand under his arm to help him up. "Pe
