“How was the party?”

Claire remained silent and continued to sip on her iced coffee. After the incident with Ethan in the backyard, she tried to act as how she normally would while casually ignoring him. Ethan might've found it amusing but she wasn't delighted at all. Worse, she wanted to slap herself for not disliking the fact that he touched her.

“It was fun!” she interjected, raising her arms for more effect. “Claire got drunk and I got to flirt with a guy!”
