“Bella is not really looking for me, is she?” Eira asked as soon as they were far enough from Caleb.

Damien shook his head, his eyes looking straight ahead. “No.”

She smiled at him. “I’m surprised. You know her name and you keep referring to her as my red-haired friend. Anyways, where’s Dana?”

“In the bathroom. Some problems with her dress,” He said flatly.

Eira bobbed her and chewed her bottom lip. “Not that I needed your help, considering the fact that I was completely capable of doing a spell which I couldn’t do for obvious reasons…”

Damien paused suddenly and she realised they were already inside. A slow song played and pairs danced to it in each other’s arms.

“You were saying?” He asked, furrowing his brows.

“Thank you,” Eira said and rolled her eyes. “You can let go now.”

“What?”

Eira nudged him with her free hand and asked, “Damien? What are you looking at?” She turned her eyes but found him staring intently at a wall.
