For a moment, there was a deafening silence buzzing in her ears. She felt warm tears on her face and watched in horror at the vampire. Then she heard someone call her name from behind.
For some reason, she expected to see the black haired vampire. But instead the solemn face of Josh greeted her.
"Get me some aconite! Quick!" He commanded as soon as his eyes fell on the suffering vampire. The sharpness of his voice gave strength to her weak knees and she ran out in an instant, not sure of where else she would find them and plucked out some still blooming flowers that lined the main entrance to the mansion.

[EIRA]With a snap of her fingers, the ropes keeping Damien bound to the chair vanished before her eyes. His clothes were completely soaked in sweat and Eira still saw the few burns that covered the exposed skin of his arms.
