Chapter 2: Not Wanted By One, But Four Alphas.

I had no idea where I was driving. The roads blurred. Tears kept coming, no matter how hard I wiped them away.

Three years. Three fucking whole years. I’d given Asher everything.

When his pack was broke, I fixed the accounts. When other packs refused to trade with us, I negotiated for him, despite enduring their mocks. When everyone looked down on him because he was too weak to be Alpha, I stood beside him.

I cooked for him. Waited for him. Loved him. Believed in him.

And today… I found him in bed with my best friend. The same best friend who was by my side since I joined the Shadowfang Pack. The same person who would always bare fangs at others when someone mocked me for being a human. A weak human.

A bitter laugh escaped my lips. Maybe I really was a fool.

I rubbed the tears that threatened to stream down my cheeks.

No, I should thank her. These cheating pairs deserve each other. If she hadn't provoked me by sending me those pictures and talking behind my back, I might never have found out so easily. Yeah, Hannah had done me a huge favor.

I tried to pretend I was strong. I pretended that I wasn't hurt by them. I pretended that it didn't matter. But I was wrong. Tears dropped down my cheeks as I bit my lips hard enough to bleed.

Asher's words hurt me more than I’d like to admit. His words kept repeating in my ears, as I recalled his guilt-free face.

“You're just a pathetic human.”

“No Alpha would ever want you.”

“I doubt even an Omega would be turned on by your scent.”

His words refused to leave my head.

No matter how hard I tried to push them away, they kept replaying over and over again.

I had been mocked for being a human for years. I thought I was used to it. However, hearing it from my mate’s ears was harder than it should be. It felt like no matter what I'd do, I'd always be seen as a pathetic nobody in everyone’s eyes.

Unwanted. Undesirable. Unmateable.

I tightened my grip on the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white. Before I knew it, I had pulled up outside ‘Nocturne’ — the city's most luxurious bar, notorious for being a playground where wealthy Alphas came looking for a night of pleasure.

A night of pleasure. One-nightstand. No names. No connections. That's what I needed right now. I wasn't going to suck up to Asher, and let him do whatever he pleased.

If he didn't want me, others would. And, I'd prove that to him.

My heart pounded as I stepped in front of the doorway, after parking the car.

I had never stepped into a place like this before. Good girls didn't. Lunas certainly didn't. But what had being good ever gotten me? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I grabbed my purse, and walked inside.

The music hit me first. Loud. Wild. Untamed. The scent of alcohol mixed with hundreds of different wolf pheromones filled the air.

For the first time in years… No one knew who I was. I wasn't Asher’s mate, certainly, not the pack’s Luna.

I walked straight to the counter. “Something strong,” I told the bartender.

He raised an eyebrow. “Are you sure?”

I forced a smile. “Certainly. I'm celebrating.”

I was celebrating a cheating mate, the loss of a fake friend, and a broken bond.

“You alone?” I turned my gaze toward the Alpha. “Mind if I take a seat?”

I looked him up from head to toe. Curly hair. Dark eyes. Clean-shaven. A well-built body. Nothing particularly remarkable, but not bad either.

I gulped and nodded. “Alone.”

Judging by his appearance, he was probably one of the Alphas who had come here looking for a one-night stand. I had nothing to lose if I slept with him. After all, I'd only come here for one thing. It didn't matter who it was.

“I'm—”

“I thought we don't share our names here?” I didn't want any names. No entanglements. Just one night.

“Wow, you want to get straight to the point.” He smirked as he placed his hand over mine. “Want to sleep with me?”

A shiver ran down my spine. I shook his hand off, and gulped the alcohol in one go. Something about him did not feel right.

“Maybe another time.” I got up to leave. Maybe coming here was a bad decision. However, his arms stopped mine.

“Now is better than later.”

I tried to break free, but his grip tightened around my arm.

“Let her go.” A commanding voice came from behind.

“Who the fuck are you? Mind your—” The Alpha stopped in his tracks, and his grip loosened. “I— I'll leave now. I didn’t know she was with you.”

I turned. For a brief moment, I forgot to breathe.

Silver hair framed his sharp features, falling over a pair of striking amber eyes. They were so clear that I could almost see my own reflection in them. The tattoos winding up his neck only made him look even more dangerous.

He was handsome. Ridiculously handsome.

Focus, Rosalie. I wasn't here to admire a stranger's face. I was here to prove Asher wrong. I had promised myself there would be no names, no feelings, and certainly no regrets. So why the fuck I was so tempted?

“Stared enough? Want me to unbutton my shirt for you to see?”

A blush spread across my face, and I looked away immediately.

“You can see as much as you want, and you can touch as well.”

Fuck. That was tempting. I couldn't believe I was actually getting drawn to this condescending Alpha.

“You want to join us?” My gaze followed the direction he pointed. Three more Alphas.

Each one carried himself with effortless confidence, as though the entire room belonged to them.

Something inside me whispered to leave.

This was too much. Too dangerous. Four strangers. Four Alphas.

No sane woman would say yes.

I should've turned around. I should've walked away. Instead… I found myself staring.

Fuck. Every single one of them was devastatingly handsome.

All of them were tall, distinctive, and carried an overwhelming sense of dominance.

My eyes landed on the Alpha sipping his wine. His dark hair fell effortlessly over his forehead, and his golden eyes seemed to stare right through my soul.

Then my gaze shifted to the one sitting beside him. His brown hair almost covered his emerald eyes, hidden behind a pair of glasses. He wore a gentle smile, yet a chill ran through my entire body. There was nothing gentle about that smile. It felt as though he had already set his sights on his prey.

Then, the last one. Mysterious. His steel-blue eyes never left me. He looked rugged, and his ash-blond hair softened his sharp features. But the way his eyes felt in mine—

“Awestruck, sweetie?”

I rolled my eyes and looked away. Somehow, they all looked familiar, but I couldn't figure out why. I'd have definitely remembered meeting Alphas this handsome.

“So? Made your decision? But I warn you, sweetie... once we start, we won't stop.”

“We...?”

Four. Four Alphas. And they wanted to share?

“Why?” he asked with a teasing smile. “Don't you want all of us?”

I gulped. Was I looking at them so obviously? This wasn't what I'd planned. I'd come here looking for one reckless mistake. Not four.

Every sensible part of me screamed to leave. But then Asher's voice echoed through my mind. “No Alpha would ever want you.”

My fingers curled into my palms.

Fine. If one Alpha wasn't enough to prove him wrong… Then maybe four were.

I didn't say a word, I just nodded. I didn't want to reject them.

“Great choice, sweetie. Let's go.”

“Wait. Let's just check in the hotel.”

“Fuck. Aren't you impatient?” He laughed. “But whatever you want, sweetie.”

I blushed. This Alpha was fucking too smooth with this. It must be his hundredth time already.

He signaled the others.

I knew this was maybe a bad decision. But it was just one time. No names. No entanglements. Done. And, these Alphas must've wanted the same.

Before I knew it, we were already inside a high-end luxury car. It was spacious enough to fit at least ten people, yet the four of them squeezed into the middle seats beside me.

My heart pounded with excitement, and I could feel my body reacting as theirs brushed against mine. Nothing inappropriate was happening, yet the air itself felt intoxicating, and my pulse refused to slow down.

“We can smell your heat, sweetie,” he whispered into my ear as he raised the privacy partition. “Can't wait already?”

I blushed.

The dark-haired Alpha suddenly wrapped an arm around me and lifted me onto his lap. “Y-You... you guys…”

“Sit back and enjoy.” His voice was calm yet commanding. A command I didn't want to refuse. “Relax.” He gently tilted my chin up so I was looking at him. His breathing was uneven, as though he were holding something back.

I gulped, wrapped my arms around his neck, and leaned closer to him.

“Fuck!” he growled under his breath before capturing my lips with his. “Open your lips, princess.”

My body went weak as I let him dominate the kiss.

Fuck. I needed more.

“Don't forget about us, sweetheart.”

My gaze shifted toward him. His blond hair was slightly tousled, and the look in his steel-blue eyes made my breath hitch. The way they all looked at me... it was as though they wanted me even more.

“Focus.” I shuddered at his command. He smirked before gently biting my neck.

“We'll be starting now, darling.” As he spoke, he lowered himself onto one knee and spread my legs apart.

“Where do you want us to touch you, sweetie?”

I gulped. Everywhere.

I wanted them to fuck me hard. So hard that I'd forget Asher ever existed.

“Are you seriously thinking about something else while you're with us?”

“No... I... I was just thinking...” I swallowed hard. “I want you to fuck me... hard.”

“Fuck.” They growled almost in unison.

“You're seducing us. Can't wait anymore.” As he said it, he tore my panties with a sharp bite. I gasped as his tongue slid between my legs, circling my clit.

“Heck. Do you know the expression you're making, sweetie?” As he spoke, he slipped his fingers beneath my top and pinched my nipples.

The dark-haired Alpha kissed me again, hard, before I could even gasp for breath. My hand instinctively reached out toward the blonde. He was simply watching us. ‘Help…’ I wanted to mutter.

Instead, he caught my hand and slowly licked my fingers. A shiver ran through my body. I had never imagined that something as simple as having my fingers licked could turn me on this much.

“Cute. Were you asking him for help, sweetie?” He chuckled. “Brother doesn't give a fuck if you're breathless. And you can't even handle us already?”

As soon as he finished speaking, the dark-haired Alpha released my lips, lowered his head to my neck, and sucked gently on the sensitive skin. “We've reached.”

Fuck. They didn't care what happened to me. I should've run. Each of them was more dangerous than the last. But I couldn't. I wanted them. I needed them to fuck me hard.

The car pulled up outside the hotel's back entrance. They carried me in their arms, shielding me from view as they escorted me to the room.

“I'm so fucking turned on. She kept grinding against me the whole ride. Were you giving me a lap dance, princess?”

“She must've been squirming because of our touches.”

I blushed. They didn't waste a single second before unbuttoning their shirts.

“Now tell us, princess. Do you want us to go together or one by one?”

I gasped. All four of them had cornered me, impatience burning in their eyes.

One of them pressed me down onto the bed, rubbing himself against my thighs, while another buried his face against my chest.

My eyes lingered on the other two. They were still waiting. Still silent.

“To... together...” I muttered, my voice barely above a whisper. “I want all of you... together.”
