Chapter 32 – The Return of Crimson

Rostam, Jasper, Finn, and I were tasked with splitting the camp into three Divisions. North, East, and West. The West division of our combined armies would back Lamia, Mathias, Kellen, and Rhett, The North Division would be led by Jasper, Tobias, my brother, and Crimson. The East forces were to be led by Mike, Rogue, and myself.

Finn’s job was to stay on Rhett’s tail.

We had a list of different kingdoms that had sent warriors, or countries that had come together to fight for the realm. As well as a head count. Last night several of us went around camp, taking down names and which pack or kingdom they belonged to.

There were several reasons for this. We knew not everyone would survive and we wanted to be able to honor the fallen as best as we could when the time came. I hoped it wouldn’t, but I was also realistic as was Mathias who ordered us to carry out this task. Another reason was that we wanted to split the divisions equally but also wanted to keep armies that had worked well

You have all waited so patiently for this battle, the fight for the fate of the realm begins within the next two chapters. I will do my best to post chapters this week. It is a holiday week here in the USA, one of the biggest summer celebrations. There will be no chapter on Thursday the 4th of July. Please let me know your thoughts on the story so far, I hope you are enjoying it so far, and are you all still on the edge of your seat? We have two battle scenes coming up after that the main event!
