Meghan struggled to keep her expression neutral, her eyes revealing no emotion as she walked in to her boss's office the next day.
If he was going to reprimand her for being late, she would take it face on, not simpering like a coward.
She would not give him the satisfaction of seeing her falter or flinch.
"Sarah, step into my office", her boss said before she walked in through the open door.
"Yes, sir", she said curtly and walked in.
When she walked in, she stood in front of his table, her arms folded.
