Before she even opened her eyes Ally had the worst headache ever. It felt like someone was pounding on her brain with a meat tenderizer. She groaned and all at once the events of the night flooded her mind. Gasping she sat up trying to catch her breath she was sitting in a large flat dirt pad. Before she even opened her eyes Ally had the worst headache ever. It felt like someone was pounding on her brain with a meat tenderizer. She groaned and all at once the events of the night flooded her mind. Gasping she sat up trying to catch her breath she was sitting in a large flat dirt pad. The remnants of the old shack blown for yards all around her. Her muscles protested as she struggled to stand. Taking a step Ally noticed a dark pile of ash with clumps of fur. Abaddon. I killed Abaddon. He killed A.J. Oh my god. She covered her mouth at the thought of A.J. He was dead because of her. This was all her fault. I am evil. I am going to be the reason for the end of the world. Shielding her eyes from the sun she searched her surrounding for anything. Her eyes found a mass laying in the tall grass about thirty feet away. She ran stepping on painful rocks as she did. “Ouch.” Still no shoes. Her heart dropped when she saw Gabriel laying face down in th

He watched her as she slept cuddling next to the little boy. The fire he had summoned for warmth danced across her bare legs. Was she worth your fall? If it meant saving the entire human race I would do it again. This girl, Ally as she was to be called cost him his grace and a brother. How could such a small, fickle thing be the source of the end of all things. I have fought enemy’s that could devour this planet in one bite. But, this girl, this human girl is what is to doom us all? He smirked. The smile fell from his face when he saw his wings sprawled on the floor. But she is not all human. As quickly as the smirk came it had fallen. Gabriel stood and picked up one of his massive wings and covered the sleeping girl. The air went still and a deep quiet filled the shack. His senses were on instant alert. He scanned the small room. Nothing was there yet, something was. The fire in the small fire place started roaring. The flames reached the ceiling but noth

Great. He locked us in here to die. I wanted him to hide me but preferably not to die. Especially not with a little boy who had nothing to do with this. Ally looked over at A.J. who was thankfully still sleeping on the floor. She looked around and saw a small table cloth covering a dusty table. It wasn’t the silk sheets she was covered with just a few hours before but it was better than nothing. She pulled it off the table and covered the sleeping boy. How could an angel just leave a little boy here to die. “Angel my ass.” She whispered. She tried every window and every door with no luck so, she just sat down and watched A.J. sleep. Maybe he was better off if I just let him fall. That would have saved him from all of this. It would have saved him from whatever torture was in store for this world before it even started. She stared at the sleeping boy. I could still do it. He doesn’t have to be dragged along to hell along side with me. She felt h

He stood there in the glass watching her be flown farther and farther out of view. The pit in his stomach ached and he felt it turn into a burning boil and then a blind rage. He clenched his fists and the floor started to thrum underneath him. The glass from the shattered window vibrating. Drake let out a yell that sounded like it came from deep within the ground. The earth growled and the earth splintered. From where his building sat following the flight path of Gabriel… a crack big enough to swallow two football fields in width swallowed cars, and people, the buildings began to crumble. He felt a hand on his shoulder. His destruction stopped and he dropped to his knees. Heaving, Drake put a hand on his mothers.“We will get her back.” She said lovingly.“I will rip apart this entire world and destroy anyone in my way.” He said between gritted teeth.“Drake, YOU will not go after her. You are too important to the cause. We can not ri..” He stood and tightened his gr

He was going to kill her, that was his plan. It was his plan up until he saw her without question throw herself off that ledge after the little boy. For a brief second he considered just letting her splatter on the sidewalk below. It would end a war before it had even started. But, by the grace of God he could not watch her parish. Not after being so self-less with her fragile existence at the sake of someone else’s. Now he held her and the little boy as he soared through the clouds. His plan now was to hide her as she asked from anyone who would be looking for her. I’m not sure how long that will work. He spotted a run-down wooden shack somewhere in middle of now where North Carolina. Landing at the front door he kicked it open with his foot. He laid the girl on the floor and placed the child next to her. The sun had started to come up and he believed there to be a chill in the air. It was hard to tell he was always comfortable. He looked at the old b

“After multiple catastrophes all over the globe this morning, government officials are looking into possible terrorist activity. Conspiracy theorist are saying world war is eminent. Religious groups are speaking of end of days…” Ally had passed out hard and must have slept away the afternoon. She awoke to the soft glow of the television. As soon as she stirred Drake turn it off, she was convinced he didn’t want her to hear it. He flipped on the reading lamp, rolled over and moved the hair from her face. “Where’s Aj?” Ally was furious at herself for only now remembering.“The little boy?” She felt his body tense up.“Yes.” She sat straight up and threw on her shirt. Turning towards him defenses on high.“He was to be used as leverage.” He ignored her glare.“Ok, leverage for what I’m here aren’t I? Now let me see him.” She was about to storm his castle if he did not deliver. “I will search this place room for room right fucking now.” Her nostrils flared

He was ready to show her everything. He wanted to give her everything she wanted. As long as she played nice. If not, she wouldn’t really have a choice and things could get very unpleasant. He felt things could go either way at this point. He let her g
