Ally awoke with a jolt, her body had felt like she had been falling from the top of a thirty floor building. She squinted to try to make out where she was in the dark room. The sheets covering her were the softest she had ever felt. Placing her feet on the ground the floor was freezing and she got an instant chill. She wanted nothing more than to climb back in bed and pull the covers over her head. But she wanted to know where she was. The slightest leak of sunlight peaked through a sliver in the floor to ceiling blackout drapes. She embraced herself and tried to rub the goosebumps away as she walked to the window. She threw the drapes back and was met with the familiar site of the city, only from a much higher view. It was beautiful from up here.
The room was really impressive. She saw a photo of a Vegas hotel one time that looked pretty similar. The floor was marble, in each corne of the room there were huge columns. The bed she had just climbed from was something from the movies.
I didn’t realize you could make a bed that big.
This was the room of a really, really rich man. Too bad that money was attatched to something so evil.
Is he though, Ally? Evil?
“Of course he is!” She said out loud.
Demon. There’s your first clue. Anything labeled that is evil, especially when they are planning the damn apocalypse. Than doesn’t that make you evil too?
“Tssk. NO! I am not.” Ally exlamed.
I am not evil and I am not staying here!
She found her shoes by the bed and shoved her feet in to them. Briskly she made her way to the door threw it open and ran right into what she could only think of as a body guard.
“Morning highness.” An Andre the Giant reincarnation smiled back at her.
“Uhm, yeah good morning. Excuse me. I’m leaving.” She tried pushing past him and he didn’t budge.
"I cant let you leave highness." The man said.
She tried to squeeze past him but failed.
"Well ok. Will you please get Drake for me." She slammed the door and over heard him call on his walkie talkie.
Of course Im not able to leave. I am a prisoner.
Her whole life had been a lie. Miss Clarke was Drakes mother apparently. And she was a walking, ticking, apocalyptic time bomb in half human form. She walked to the window and tried to imagine the city before her in any other way then she sees it now. She closed her eyes and replayed her dream in her head. But this time, she tried to imagine what exactly she had done to the world to leave it so dead.
Maybe, I made it rain tar and people couldn’t breathe.
Maybe, I somehow lite that world on fire.
There was a gentle rap at the door and Drake came strolling in. He was dressed more casually in a pair of jeans and a V-neck tee shirt. She could make out muscles under his shirt. He went to cross to her, her heart sped up and time seemed to slow down. But, it wasn’t because he had entered the room.

He went to cross to her, her heart sped up and time seemed to slow down. But, it wasn’t because he had entered the room.
Something huge crossed out the corner of her eye. Everything seemed to have slowed down and sped up at the same time. Her eyes were burning and she felt in control, of everything. She turned to face her dream, in real life.
“Oh. My. God.” She whispered.
DID I DO THAT?
A tri level airliner was falling from the sky, the engine a blaze. The black jet fuel was raining out of it like –TAR! It fell on the streets below blanketing the cars and people in a black fire.
The door of the plane flew off and she watched it hurl towards the street. Some of the passengers were jumping trying to escape what looked like a smoked filled cabin. Exactly like in her thoughts. Her stomach was turning; her heart was pounding in her throat. Then, the aircraft slammed with an earth shaking finale into New York Harbor.
Drake was now at her side one hand on her waist. They both watched the scene play out. Ally fell to her knees and began to sob, her sobbing became laughter, her laughter became hysterical. Drake was looking down at her like she had lost her mind.
“I did that.” She said looking up at him.
“You did that?” He was blank, he looked from her to the Harbor. “How so?”
She crawled to the window and turned her back to lean on it pulling her knees in close. “I thought it and it happened. I DID THAT!” She was trembling. The sound of sirens and helicopters came from the city.
“Okay….and how do you feel?” He asked sitting beside her.
Don’t be fucking coy. I feel like I just killed a bunch of people. I feel confused. I feel numb. I feel-
“Powerful.” She was looking at her hands as if she had been the one physically doing all of this.
“Hmph.” Was the only reaction Drake gave her.
He was going to kill her, that was his plan. It was his plan up until he saw her without question through herself off that ledge after the little boy. For a brief second he considered just letting her splatter on the sidewalk below. It would end a war before it had even started. But by the grace of God he could not watch her parish. Not after being so self-less with her fragile existence at the sake of someone else’s. Now he held her and the little boy as he soared through the clouds. His plan now was to hide her as she asked from anyone who would be looking for her. I’m not sure how long that will work. He spotted a run-down wooden shack somewhere in middle of now where North Carolina. Landing at the front door he kicked it op
“After multiple catastrophes all over the globe this morning, government officials are looking into possible terrorist activity. Conspiracy theorist are saying world war is eminent. Religious groups are speaking of end of days…” Ally had passed out hard and must have slept away the afternoon. She awoke to the soft glow of the television. As soon as she stirred Drake turn it off, she was convinced he didn’t want her to hear it. He flipped on the reading lamp, rolled over and moved the hair from her face. “Where’s Aj?” Ally was furious at herself for only now remembering. “The little boy?” She felt his body tense up. “Yes.” She sat straight up and through on her shirt. Turning towards him defenses on high.
Drake had been informed by security that Ally was awake and trying to leave. He wasn’t holding her against her will. He felt they were past that. But it did sting a bit that she indeed wanted to leave. He was again prepared for some childlike tantrum as he walked in the room. Instead he was met with her beauty and then her power. He had been convinced he would have to help her lock into it. But as it seems, Alyssa was perhaps the only person or demon that had ever been a step ahead of him. She had brought down a plane with just her will for it. He felt unsure for the first time in his existence in how to deal with something. She was a mixed cocktail of emotions and he could tell the human part of her was struggling to hold on. This event may have been just what he needed to win her over. &n

He was ready to show her everything. He wanted to give her everything she wanted. As long as she played nice. If not, she wouldn’t really have a choice and things could get very unpleasant. He felt things could go either way at this point. He let her go first through the turn style like doors. Surprising enough she turned back to look at him as she walked. “Is this supposed to impress me?” she stopped suddenly. “For the mere price of your soul and the end of the human race, you to can live like a millionaire.” She sounded like Bob Baker. He let out a laugh. She was unamused. He could tell she was trying to act unimpressed. He prided himself in his labrish collection of artifacts from around the world. His building was designed with a mixture of Greek and Egyptian influence. “Well, some of the world’s most important world leaders have passed through these doors a
He had just massacred a whole orphanage and was quite possibly the worst being to walk the earth. Yet, here she was walking down the steps, trailing behind him, doing as she was told giving him exactly what he wanted. You really have no choice Alyssa. Do it for the kid and Miss Clarke. You are honestly about to do what every adult warns every child. Do not get into cars with strangers. Too many people have died because of you today. Get in the damn car.The worst part is even though she had just met him today. He was no stranger. She knew exactly what he was and what he was capable of. The crazy part is, she was not afraid of him. He pissed her off. He disgusted her. But, being close to him stirred up the animal inside of her. She wished that she didn’t feel comfort in his arms. She had found it laying there on the kitchen floor, surro
