AARON
My eyes widened. "Helena? Helena, baby, you're awake! Thank God." I don't think I've ever been so startled or ran that fast ever in my life.
Once my hand landed on her body, it jerked away.
Her body was freezing and she, herself, was shivering and sobbing. The deepest of the deepest voice I could ever have spoken, I yelled out for the doctor.
I wrapped her into the tightest embrace and rubbed her arms to regain her body heat.
Not even a minute later, a doctor and three nurses came rushing in.
"Sir, we're requesting you to step aside so we can handle her."
"A-Aaron, please don't go..." I looked down to see Helena's eyes puffy. Her nose red and dripping with tears. Her body was so weak that she could barely lift her hand to grab onto mind.
