Chapter 9

~Ace~

With much deliberation, I agreed to a deal with Alpha Marcus. Hayley Moon and I finally got engaged after we agreed to the terms. In just one week, I returned to the mansion with the girl I was about to introduce as my fiancée.

A party welcomed me. Ben organized everything. He's always reliable in so many ways. He could even be anything I wanted him to be. If he were a girl, I'd probably have made love to him.

"What about her?" I asked Ben when we had just entered the party venue.

"As you commanded, Alpha Ace. She's over there." Ben pointed in one direction.

My eyeballs rolled following Ben's pointer. I saw her. She was wearing a maid uniform and offering drinks to the guests. She looked even cuter with her hair braided.

"Damn it!" I swore as the pounding came back.

"What's wrong? Is everything okay, Alpha Ace?" Ben's voice distracted me.

I turned to see Ben staring questioningly at me. I thought he wouldn't hear my swearing, but his hearing is pretty sharp.

"Nothing," I replied
