Chapter Nine
The news traveled fast and all day everyone had been talking about Runa and Ace’s secret relationship. She wondered how news traveled so fast but then again it was probably Marlene.
“So that’s why you’ve been hanging with Alpha Ace’s child? Because you’re both in love?” Vinnie said as he looked his sister up and down with a shocked look.
Runa completely did not know what to say. She couldn’t tell them what happened, she knew Vinnie wouldn’t just sit still.
Though last night, Runa was still shocked. When Damien had kissed her she didn’t feel anything anymore. She didn’t know what sparks he was talking about and it was as if he was talking out of his ass. He did smell of liquor.

The next morning came along and Runa did an earthly stretch before getting up and getting ready for the day that awaited her.She takes a shower, does her hair, and applies light make up. She cleared the bags under her eyes and put on some comfy clothing. So it was another dinner tonight, Runa wondered why they had so many of these and why she had to attend. Chapter 12“Runa!!” She heard Ryan yell as he hugged her leg and took in a deep breath. “I’ve missed you so much.” He said sincerely.
