The Dinner Party
Alena stood gazing at the dim-lit room, marvelling at the number of people in the large room. Everyone looks beautiful and handsome under the red, blue and white chandelier. She couldn't tell who was what.
The hall was bare of chairs as everyone walked around the room chanting and greeting each other with smiles on their faces.
“ Come let's go ” Milena whispered to Alena as she turned to pull her up the stairs to another room which Alena didn't notice.
Alena watched as Milena walked up to the stair where a guard stood guarding the door, he opened the door to allow Milena in but closed it back refusing Alena's entrance.
“ I'm with her ” Alena protested, frowning as she took in the guard who was looking at her with disgust on her face.
