Scarlett:

I smiled, opening my eyes to find Alexei looking down at me, running his finger over my sprawled up hair, gently looping his finger with my curls before letting it go.

His eyes were gentle as he hovered my body, kissing my forehead, cheek, nose, then finally my lips. I smiled into the kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck as I pulled him closer, his bare chest touching the exposed parts of my arms and stomach.

“What about morning breath?” I asked him, catching his own minty breath. His wet hair told me that he had already showered, and considering that he was wearing his suit’s pants, I knew that he was going out.

“I never cared about it, and I don’t think that I would start doing so now” he whispered, biting down my bottom lip. Alexei wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me to sit up, making me giggle.
