Alexei:I frowned in confusion when I noticed that the house was completely quiet. No one was in the living room, and seeing as I couldn’t hear anyone walking around upstairs, I knew that the top floors were practically empty. If anything, the girls were literally nowhere to be seen, and the men were busy going about with their duties as if it was some long day. Alexei: I froze, processing what Scarlett just said.
