I frowned as I heard the news, trying to process what she said as I wondered how that was even possible. The idea of Killian being alive was something that was so surreal that I couldn’t believe it, however, recalling Maria’s words. The man had indeed made a deal with the devil.

And if that was real, then not only the pack, but literally anyone who associated with the pack members could be in danger. Ianos was not going to let anything go, and I knew that neither would Killian. Him dying the way he did was too easy, we all knew that, but this was the last thing that I expected happening.

“Alvize, can you please at least explain to me what’s going on?” Elena asked, frowning in confusion at my expression.
