Alvize:

“Alvize, we are going to need to get out of here.” Donatello said, wanting me to leave.

I shook my head as I kept my eyes on the door, knowing that Ezra wouldn’t be leaving either. The man knew that his wife was in there, and though they were arguing, the last thing that he would do was leave her at a time like this one.

“You can leave if you want, I am not going to leave without her.” I said, glaring at the door before their shadows appeared.

My eyes widened in surprise as I saw the hound rushing toward us. The ground beneath our feet shook as the place started crumbling, and I knew that it was the light of the scroll and blade. Whatever happened, I knew that my mate succeeded.

Lia and Elena ran toward us but that wasn’t what surprised me. The Lycan, our brother, the man who was still considered our enemy, was with them, and both women were supporting him to ensure that he didn’t fall.

I ran toward them and wrapped my arm around the Lycan who seemed to be injured as blood
