Chapter fifty-nine

WRITER'S POV

It was pitch dark and in the eerie hours of the morning. Matteo has just gotten up from bed and taken a gulp of the packaged blood. He felt disgusted the moment his tongue tasted it. He cursed under his breath and threw the can back into the fridge. Ever since he tasted the human blood again, he hadn't had the slightest urge to take a sip from the packaged blood they have in their land.

He was tired of being led by that bastard called Lucas. If only he had won the clan's elders meeting, he would have been drinking some real blood now and not some packaged disgusting blood.

"It is all that bitch's fault…" he gritted, referring to Lauretta.

Suddenly a thought hit him as he crept back to his room. A grin spread in his face as the thought settled well in his head. There are always many ways to kill a rat. Harold was right, it isn't over until it is over.
