Arturo:
I watched as Sienna sat on her chair beside the window.
Her heart raced as she sat, clearly anxious. The family was either asleep, or busying themselves with whatever they had to tend to. My parents were on a different plane for security reasons, each one of us took their own planes.
Sienna and I haven’t said a word to one another since what happened at the wedding, and it didn’t take me long to realize that she was avoiding any interaction with me to begin with. And though even mom noticed on the runway that we weren’t walking, especially when she believed that we were growing ‘intimate’, she sensed that something might have happened. But thankfully, choosing to put whatever assumptions she had in mind, she didn’t say a word.
I got up from my seat. The plane was already halfway back to New York, and it wouldn’t be long until we were home, at the Estate, expected to fulfill our duties as Alpha and Luna toward one another. The ceremony, that she as a wolf expected, was not going to happen. Though a small celebration of a new Luna would be made, it wouldn’t be an extravagant one. It would just be one to announce that their Alpha has now found his ‘Luna’, or in other words, a potential heir would be born, a continuation of their Alpha’s bloodline. And that was something that was very important when it came to our pack and family.
I got myself and her two glasses of cocktail, she didn’t bother putting anything in her mouth since we got on, and I was starting to wonder whether it was because she was nervous of the marking when we got back, or an aftermath of me pinning her against the door in the dressing room.
I put the drink on the small table beside her, catching her off guard before sitting down. She frowned in confusion, and looked down at the drink as she straightened on her chair. “I figured that you would at least drink something. We still have a few hours to go, and you haven’t eaten or at least you didn’t even drink anything since the wedding.”
“Thank you.” She said, looking down at the glass before taking it in her hand. She took a sip of the juice, and looking out the window again, she smiled. “I apologize for my behavior at the wedding today, more specifically, after the wedding. It was disrespectful from me towards you as my Alpha…”
“I did not ask you to apologize, nor did I come here seeking an apology. If anything, I should be the one apologizing for pinning you against the door, and here I am, not doing so.” I said, my voice softening. No one was technically around, therefore, putting on the tough man mask was not really needed. Plus, the woman was a bride, and if anything, I could tell that she was just as forced as I was into this.
“I’m guessing that we’re even?” She asked, and I nodded. I gave her a gentle smile of assurance, not wanting her to be ‘afraid’. The two of us knew that I could very much crush her in seconds, but I also knew that it wouldn’t make me a man to do something like that to a woman.
“Yes, but if you do try to be a sass queen on me again, I will be sure to make you regret it, little wolf.” I said, smirking at her. Sienna, catching on to my teasing behavior, smiled and nodded.
“Although I am interested in taking up the challenge, I would rather not do that right now. But I will be sure to keep that in mind.” She said, making me chuckle. I nodded and got up from the chair, leaving her to drink her beverage as I walked toward Donatello, my right hand, and best friend who was sitting on his chair, scrolling through his phone.
He raised an eyebrow at me and I simply nodded at him to follow me. He put his phone down and got up from his chair, and entering my office, the plane was a customized one, and rather than having different compartments, I had a bedroom and an office. His green eyes met my brown ones and he shook his head in question as he locked the door. I turned on the voice muffler, making sure that no one outside could hear the two of us as we spoke. This came in handy when it came to being in a plane with other wolves, and the last thing that I needed was for anyone to hear about this.
“I take it that you want me to do something.” Donatello stated, making me chuckle. I nodded and crossed my arms over my chest as I recalled how her parents had treated her. Knowing how my mother treated my sister, Valeria, when she simply found her mate, I was surprised to see that her mother was literally void of emotions. At least Val stayed back at the pack with us alongside her mate. Sienna was literally going to a whole different continent.
“I want you to find everything that you can about Sienna. Where she came from, her family, I want everything about her.” I said, looking my best friend in the eye.
“Is everything alright?” He asked. “I thought that we already ran that check? You know, the two families were chosen together due to being the strongest of two…”
“Yes, but something inside me tells me that we’re missing a few things, what they are, I don’t know. I want you to find out.” I said, looking at him. He nodded, and taking a step back, he looked at the door, silently asking for permission to leave. I nodded at him, allowing him to go out as I sat on my chair, pulling my laptop out, opening it.
“Let’s see what you’re hiding, neonata…”
She smiled as she watched her husband walking out of the house, holding their daughter in his arms.It has been months since Sienna has given birth, and she couldn’t be happier with her relationship with the Alpha of Alphas. He was the Lycan that everyone feared, and yet, he was her savior, her love, her passion, and her desire. He smiled when he took sight of her before approaching her slowly. “Are you okay?” He asked, watching as his daughter went to her mother, wanting to be held by her. Contasina giggled as Sienna wrapped her arms around her, holding her to her chest before she kissed her.“I am fine. I just needed some air.” Sienna said, looking up at the sky. Today marked her mother’s birthday, and though Arturo didn’t know about it, he could tell that something was wrong with his mate. She would rarely ever open up about her mom. In her mind, she feared that speaking about her wouldn’t do her justice, and she was thankful for the fact that no one ever pressured her to do som
Sienna:I screamed as loud as I could as I tried pushing my baby out of me.“Come on, Luna, you can do it.” Valeria encouraged as she held my hand. I took deep and slow breaths as I tried fighting off the cramps which seemed to be tearing my insides out. My heart raced, and I knew that my mate could feel my pain, that didn’t make things any better though. The man was probably outside losing his mind as his father and two betas stopped and held him down.“Come on, Sienna, you can do it.” Ayla said, massaging my shoulder as she dabbed a wet cloth to my sweaty forehead. “Can’t I just get up and walk?” I asked, taking deep breaths as I waited for the next contraction. “If the baby can come out as I am laying, I am sure that it would just slip down when I’m walking… FUCK!” “You need to push, Sienna, just keep pushing.” Valeria said, choosing to ignore my question. I glared at her and forced myself to push one more time, my body feeling like it was set on fire as I waited for the pain to
Arturo:Six months later:I walked around the garden with my beauty who was holding her stomach as our baby kicked.I couldn’t help but smile at the feeling of contentment that I was having for her being around me the way that she was.The happiness that I felt was one that I knew I couldn’t describe and I couldn’t help but feel like my heart skipped a few beats as I recalled the two of us getting married and dancing on the dance floor in front of everyone who was watching us on our wedding day.Flashback:“Put a smile on at least, people are watching us.” I said, catching her attention as she looked down at my chest. I knew that she was careful not to step on my foot, but looking up at me, she raised an eyebrow.“I do believe that they are all aware that the two of us are nowhere near being lovers, why have to fake it?” She asked as I twirled her before pulling her closer to my chest. I wrapped my arms around her, her back was to my chest, and resting my chin on her shoulder, I kisse
Sienna:I lay on my bed as I tried to calm my racing heartbeat, thinking about everything that happened in the past few weeks.I had to admit, it seemed to me like I was the one who actually paid the price of everything that happened, mostly because I could tell that everyone was happy with the ‘achievement’ that we have managed to do. However, to me, it just seemed like a heavy weight had settled on my shoulders, and now, I really didn’t know how to get rid of it.Arturo opened the door without needing to knock, I knew that he was well aware that I wasn’t moving, meaning that I was either sitting on the couch or laying on bed. He sighed when he took sight of me before slowly approaching. He didn’t say a word, he didn’t need to, as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me in for a hug. I purred in response and curled up in his arms, thankful for his presence. In my head, our relationship was the only thing that I have managed to gain out of this conflict. If anything, I knew that it
Arturo: “So, that explains it all.” I said, looking at dad who nodded. We were all sitting in the living room as I filled him in on what happened during the time that he and mom were gone. “I take it that the two of you are now in charge of two packs, and one of them has no elders.” He said, raising an eyebrow. “This one is the one by blood and family, but how do you guarantee that they wouldn’t end up rebelling? You know that with no elders, and with you residing here, it would be almost impossible for us to keep under control.” “Agreed, but that is a whole other story that I want to discuss with Sienna later. I need to get her opinion on this first before opening up about anything, but I would be letting you know about what we decide. Considering the fact that the pack is hers by blood, I don’t want to double cross her as well.” I said, looking at mom who nodded. Sienna was in the bedroom. She needed to rest a bit, and I wanted her to calm down before the two of us got to talki
Sienna: I smiled at my husband as the two of us went back to the pack. The fact that he was more than willing and open to sacrifice a lot for me only made me admire him more than I already did. The man did not only help me get back what was mine, but he also stood up to those who took it from me, and that was something that I knew that I couldn’t have done for myself. “Thank you for today, Arturo.” I said, catching his attention. He frowned in confusion before turning to face my blushing self. However, I couldn’t contain what I was feeling toward him. The way he spoke to me, and the way he stood up to the elders for me. His softening tone when his eyes would meet mine, all that played in my head like a beautiful scenario that I couldn’t escape. “Baby girl, I didn’t do anything for you to be thanking me for. If anything, I would have done a lot more, but I knew that pushing you to more limits would only make you a lot more nervous than you already were.” He said softly. “Arturo,
