After meeting with the elders, Kelly still maintained his stance. He was not going to back down no matter what the elders said. He was never an obedient boy like most of them thought. He had only been obedient when his grandfather was alive because he wanted to assure him that he could leave the pack in his care. He was not going to listen to anyone and he was bent on fighting Matthew.

The elders have never seen someone as selfish as Kelly who did not even care about the people he led. All he cared about was his pride and nothing else. They were now starting to regret why they supported Gael in appointing him as the alpha. They were even starting to be suspicious after thinking about all the events that took place before and after Kelly was named alpha.

They were well aware that Ashton did not deserve everything that happened to him, but because they wanted to maintain their faces, they lost such a good leader. They could only grit their teeth and pray to their ancestors
