Looking at Baylor laying in this bed it reminds me of how young he really is. If he were human he wouldn’t even be old enough to fight in a war for his country. But he isn’t human and he is the Alpha of Skatom Mochain who fought until he couldn’t for his pack.

I brushed his hair off of his face and bent to place a soft kiss on his forehead. “Come back to me baby. Our pack needs you, I need you. Uncle Mike is here and he needs you too. Wake up baby, I love you,” I told him, holding his hand in mine.

I couldn’t hold back anymore as the tears streamed down my face. This man with a defined sense of right and wrong, who stood for equality and justice was laying here broken. I remember Baylor telling me that it had been his dream to come to Ireland and find his family for as long as he could remember.
