For the first time in years, I felt at ease with everything. I had a job, I had friends, and I also had a wonderful boyfriend. Dating in the human realm was different than in the werewolf community. The men were less possessive and much more understanding of their feelings as such. Still, the sex was incredible. Ace was a giver in all aspects, and it was enough for her.

She would sometimes think about the family and friends she had left behind. Every so often, her thoughts would be filled with the memory of past lovers. People who had betrayed and hurt her deeply. But that was in the past.
