I don't know why I'm trusting this man, he touched my arm and sparks ignited and I rubbed the area, it didn't hurt, it actually felt nice. He wants to help me and say's he's a psychiatrist, well as long as I'm crazy I guess I'll need one of those. The voice in my head purrs, "he's our mate, he's so handsome, so strong, so dreamy." I follow him into the kitchen and the voice won't shut up, when he says he's taking us to a safe place, the voice screams in my head, "he's taking us with him, our mate already loves us, I can tell."
I scream at the voice in my head as he looks down at me, a few strands of his black curly hair fall over his forehead, he's blue eyes twinkle, "you've really lost the plot, look at him, he's tall, built like a sculpture of hercules for christ sake. Why in all the world would he look twice at us, because we are fucking crazy and that is what he does for a living. He's not interested in us for any other reason, he feels sorry for me because I have this voice in my head that I'm now talking too, not only that I'm arguing with."
I hear Margie sob, "see prayers are answered, God sent his angel to help this sweet girl."
I inwardly scoff, uh huh, 13 years too late, but hey he answered right, the voice in my head purrs again, "our mate is taking us with him, next we will mark and mate."
My body stiffens, "mark and mate?" I pull my hand from his only to realize I'm inside his car, he backs out of the space. I look at him and fear grips my heart. I look in the backseat and the other guys are sitting there staring at me. Braddock's voice hums, "so Charlie behind you is Steve," I turn and he finger waves me, I blink at him, "the other guy is Chris," he smiles at me and I nod.
My eyes dart between the guys, that take up the entire back seat of this SUV. I gulp as I turn and look at Braddock, he's bigger than both of them and extremely handsome. There all attractive, but Braddock has chiseled facial features, high cheekbones, a defined jawline with stubble and a square chin, he's charming and his baritone voice is seductive. I realize I'm alone in this car with them, what if their like all the other guys, I won't survive all of them raping me at once like my step-dad and brother.
Braddock reaches over and takes my hand and gives it a gentle squeeze, "Charlie your safe with us, no one is going to harm you, no one is going to do anything to you without your consent ever again, I promise you, Okay?"
I half smile at him, "okay, thanks."
His phone rinks through the blue tooth in the car, he releases my hand and picks up the phone to his ear, "speak," he commands and my eyes widen at the amount of authority in his tone. He winks at me as he listens, "good, did you get Stacy back?" A frown forms on his gorgeous face and I don't like it. "keep looking in that area, we'll be there in 15 minutes." He looks at me, "we need to make a pit stop and I'll need you to stay in the car, keep it locked and I need you to trust me on this."
I nod, "sure, who's Stacy and why do you need to get her back?
Steve and Chris chuckle in the backseat and Braddock glares at them through the rearview, he coughs, "she's a friend and went for a walk in the woods and didn't return, so we assume she's lost, they've found sighs of her so hopefully by the time we get there they'll have found her."
I nod, "okay, I'll stay in the car, you don't need me getting lost too."
A literal growl leaves his throat and I slam my body up against the door in fear. A small shy smile graces his face, his cheeks turn pink as he turns to look at me, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, just the thought of you in the same situation as Stacy angered me." He's embarrassed that he scared me and that shy smile on his face is adorable, I relax back into the seat. I inhale deeply and smile, he smells so good, so clean, like freshly cut grass in spring mixed with lavender. He pulls off the road and goes deep into the forest and stops the car. "I'll leave the keys in the ignition, keep the door locked, windows up and if anything spooks you, start the car and drive away as fast and as safe as you can."
I smile at him, and inwardly laugh, I can't drive but I don't say a word, as he and his friends get out of the car. I watch them all walk out into the forest until they disappeared behind a bunch of large trees. I chuckle, I don't know what he thinks could spook me out here? The forest is quite and peaceful, the only thing that could spook me is in the town we just left. This is the first time I've felt safe, truly safe. I look around the car and see a sweatshirt in the back, I crawl over the seat and snatch it. The voice in my head purrs, "he's ours and we are his, he will keep us safe," I yawn, yup, I'm offically a nut job, I hope this man can help me gain some sort of reality back. I ball up the sweatshirt to use as a pillow and lay down on the seat where Braddock sat and face the back, I inhale deeply, his smell calms me and I drift off to sleep.

I wake up and grab my phone and sigh, he hasn’t responded or even read the message, my heart plummets into my stomach. Storm whimpers, “he hates us now, I told you to be careful with him and now look what you’ve done,” she howls in anguish in my head.I drag myself to the shower and then dress in sweatpants and a tank top and walk down to the kitchen. I enter and look at the counter and the box of pastries sits there staring at me, I kiss Nonna’s cheek, “morning Nonna.”She smiles at me, “Good morning, Abi,” she plates food and goes to Jackson and Richard, placing them in front of the two and messes up their hair, “eat boys, you have a big day today.” My ears perk at what she’s said, and I grab a glass of juice and sit across from them, “what’s happening today that is special?” I sip my juice eyeing them as they both look at each other with worried expressions. I scrunch my brows together and look at them, “well, what?”The door to the kitchen opens and Momma walks in and she sque
I wake up, take a shower and get dressed, I walk into the kitchen and grab some coffee and walk past my brother without saying a word, I get to the door and he speaks, “Alpha Christov, maybe you should come and train some this morning, it might do you some good.”I grunt at him and walk out the door, I go to my office, the door in the bookcase is now sealed by the counsel investigator and I’m glad that this part is over. The phone on my desk rings and I answer, “Iron Claw, Alpha Christov,” today I’m not pleasant and I don’t care, last night did it for me. After Investigator Ryan left, I let Boris out for a run and my mind thought deeply about my mate, the female made just to fit perfectly with me, the same female that has made it clear from the second we met she has no interest in me, no feeling for me, no want or need. Boris doesn’t agree with me and argued on her behalf, but I know the truth even telling him she tried to reject us just a few days ago, her feeling are not changing
I head to my office and walk past the family lounge and notice all my siblings are sitting in there with Nonna, the smell of popcorn hits my nose. I stop and poke my head inside and look around, “it’s not Sunday, what’s going on?”Nonna smiles, “Abi, it is Sunday, you’ve been sleeping sweetheart.”I walk to my office and open the door, “what day is today?”I stop and look at everyone in the room, Momma giggles, “Sunday, you slept the entire weekend away, using your power will do that.” I sit and stare at everyone, “so what’s going on, what have I missed?”Beta Josh looks at me, “Alpha Abigail, we called the counsel and Investigator Ryan was here and interviewed the prisoners in the cells. Only one was forthcoming with information, he said that he was there but not to do anything but to get more information on the people that are running this ring. He also said that when you interrogated him, you didn’t allow him to properly explain anything.”My eyes widened to them all, “I could s
I mind linked Dimitri to come to my office and bring a few warrior’s with him.Beta Catherine and I both pulled books off of the enormous wall of shelves and placed them at the other end of the office. We were only ½ way through when Dimitri and a few warriors entered. Dimitri chuckled, “you didn’t call us here to help you redecorate did you Alpha Christov?”I arch a brow, “no I didn’t, help us and move all the books from the shelves, Beta Catherine says that this office use to be double the size it is right now, and these shelves were not here years ago.”We continue to move books for another 30 minutes when one of the warriors pulls a book and the middle shelves open with a swoosh. We all stand there looking at the opening, I move towards it and Dimitri stands next to me, “don’t touch anything in there, not anything.”I only nod as I walk towards the opening, the scent of dried blood hits my nose and I stop, I turn to Beta Catherine, “call the counsel, I want someone down here no
I woke up to the sound of giggling, and I know before I open my eyes that Tyler had infiltrated my bedroom. I roll to my side and keep my eyes closed, just long enough for him to think I’m still asleep. I peek through one of my eyes and he has my phone and is hitting goddess knows what. I don’t pay much mind, until I hear a ping, and he giggles again. I sit up on my elbows and look over his head at the phone. My eyes widen as I see the caller ID he is texting. I groan and lay back in the bed, slapping myself in the forehead and growl, “Tyler, why are you on my phone?”He climbs up on the bed, his face hovers over mine and his smile beams at me, “it’s my friend,” he says like he has any idea who he is texting or what he is texting.I look at him as he straddles my stomach with his tiny legs, I chuckle at him, “what’s your friends name?”I see him hitting the phone with his finger, his tongue sticking out the side of his mouth in deep concentration, then he looks up at me, “Wolf o
