Alpha Brothers Begged for My Forgiveness

My twin Alpha brothers believed that I have deliberately hidden the vast inheritance left by our Alpha parents so that our adoptive sister Sophia couldn’t by the medical equipment to treat her silver poisoning.

For the sake of our adoptive sister, my twin Alpha brothers dragged me before the Council's tribunal.

They accused me of stealing pack assets and deliberately harming pack members. If the charges stuck, the Alpha Council would strip away my Alpha powers to save our adoptive sister.

Before the trial began, the wolf Elder presiding over the proceedings asked the customary question.

"Defendant Aria, do you understand the trial process and its consequences? If these charges are proven, the Alpha Council will strip you of your Alpha powers."

The injuries I'd sustained protecting my brothers as a child had left lasting damage. Without my Alpha bloodline strength, I would die. My brothers knew nothing of this.

They stared at me with disgust, hoping I'd be found guilty. As plaintiffs and my guardians, they could then transfer my Alpha powers to our adoptive sister Sophia.

I couldn't understand it. I was their real sister, so why did they hate me enough to want me dead?

I looked straight at the Elder. "Please begin."

The Elder turned toward the plaintiff's section. "Plaintiffs, do you understand the trial—"

My brother Kane cut him off with a sharp voice. "We're her real brothers. Of course we understand her! There's no way we'll lose! Start the trial already—Sophia can't wait much longer!"

The trial officially began.

The Elder first stated the primary charge. "Aria has hidden the vast inheritance left by her Alpha parents. Her father clearly stated before his death that this money was for maintaining the pack's medical equipment. She secretly transferred the funds to buy luxury goods, repeatedly delaying the urgent surgery our pack member Sophia desperately needs."

My two brothers presented their "evidence": a diagnosis showing Sophia suffered from "Stage Three Silver Poisoning with Organ Failure."

They also had surveillance footage of me carrying luxury shopping bags into an upscale neighborhood.

Through the mindlink came fierce accusations from the pack members in the gallery:

"That was resources the former Alpha couple left for the pack! Money meant to save lives!"

"Having the Alpha bloodline passed to her is a disgrace. Stripping her powers is getting off easy!"

"The evidence is clear! What's left to defend?"

"This kind of person is poison to the pack. Support maximum punishment!"

"Judge, just announce the verdict! She's not worth wasting everyone's time!"

"Right! Strip her powers and use them to heal Sophia! That's justice!"

All the pack members began rallying behind Sophia. In the plaintiff's section, my two brothers carefully tended to Sophia, and I saw the triumphant smile spread across her face.
