Alpha Nolan’s POV

“Are you sure this is a photo of Ivy?” I asked my beta, and he gave a single nod. “She looks so slim and unkempt. Even a servant doesn't look this way." I muttered and walked to the sofa, where I sat comfortably. 

I was secretly going against the contract, and I wasn't regretting it. 

When I read the new rule she added, my instinct kept telling me she was hiding a lot, which could be why she doesn't want to be looked up to. Silas had also called me, telling me strongly that Sienna looked so much like his deceased mate, who murdered her father, and so he doesn't like that I have anything to do with her. 

He also vowed to look into the lady by all means, and if she was Ivy hiding with a new name, he would go to all lengths to get her back to the hell she belonged.

We were talking about my mate, and so I lost patience and decided to do my findings too. If Sienna were Ivy, then it would make sense why she looked so petite and minor when I saw her three years ago. She didn't look like an adult and was so weak and tattered at the time.

I kept staring at the photo, while picturing again what she looked like when I saved her in the woods.

No doubt, Sienna was Ivy. 

I put the photo on my side and said to my beta, “Find out everything about her in the past, why, and how she was tagged a murderer before her prosecution. I would also love to know why she looked like she had an inner sickness then, when she was an alpha princess. Everything should be done discreetly.” I ordered, and he bowed before leaving the room.

Before he exited, I called him back, “Rhys, bring forth my PA here once she arrives…”

He bowed, “Yes alpha!”

I began getting ready for work because I had to be set before Sienna showed up, as this was her first day of work. My wolf had been chuffing and wagging her tail as we recalled that we were going to be with our mate all through the day.

The joy of having our mate after so many years of losing hope…

I just couldn't wait for the three months to end already, so I told her the reality behind the contract. Who said I would reject my mate and even let her leave? I don't do that here.

I was in the bathroom, humming while the water ran down my body, when I heard the doorbell ring. Smiles plastered across my face. I tried to inhale my mate's scent, and instead ended up with Andreas’.

My expression twisted. What was she doing here, and why did Rhys let her in, knowing that I already ended things with her? 

When I was done and walked out with my towel wrapped around my waist, my gaze first landed on her, who was standing and leaning on the closed door. “Good morning, and why are you here?” I said, diverting my gaze to my wardrobe. “Andrea, we aren't in a relationship any longer, so you don't have to always show up in my place unless it has to do with business.”

“Alpha…” she mentioned and started walking closer to me. “What is it about her that I do not have? I submitted myself to you, served and respected you. Yet…

“You didn't fucking respect me, Andrea, so don't say that shit!” I retorted, and she quickly lowered her face because she knew what I meant. “What about you start leaving?” 

She hastened her steps towards me and knelt. 

Well, if it were in the past, she would likely loosen my towel and give me a blow job before we start anything else. But I really wasn't having a single feeling for her again, and even her presence itched me.

She looked me in the eyes, trying to touch me, “What about you punish me? I would do whatever you want just to make you happy again…and I promise, it won't repeat itself.” She already had tears streaming down her cheek, but it meant nothing to me, because a lot of females were that way and would even do more when forgiven.

“Alpha, you do know that an omega doesn't suit you. I got whatever you want in a woman, and…

Her words were halted when the doorbell rang once again.

A soft smile stretched my lips as I smelled her strong inciting scent. It filled my nostrils, and my wolf couldn't stop groaning as he inhaled it all so much.

“My mate is here. Can you just start leaving? Or you want to feel so embarrassed like yesterday?” I whispered to Andrea, whose eyes widened in shock.

She scoffed, “Mate? So it's true?”

I walked away from her to the door, and the first thing I did was to change the lock code of the door so Andrea has no access to it again. I unlocked the door and opened it wide for Sienna to walk in, and so she did before I slammed it shut.

“Baby girl…” I wrapped my arms around her from behind, and with how her body reacted, she didn't see that coming. “Slept well, right?” I kissed her neck deeply and turned her around.

She nodded, but wearing a frown, "What's she doing here?” she asked amid gritted teeth. 

My lips hung open. I didn't expect her voice to come out so harshly like that. 

Before I could find my words, she shot Andrea a thick glare and walked towards the door, “Come open this door, please…” she said, her lips twitched.

I walked towards the door, my whole body trembling at the aura she wore that moment. My fingers fidgeted as I input the code, and the door unlocked.

She dragged the door open and dashed out of the room, causing my heart to sink. 

I stared at my sweaty palms, my heart racing. 

What was this just now? I'd never felt like this before over a female.
