Chapter Two Birthday Party

All of us were in our class and we had the same schedule and we only had four periods. Then after that it was lunch time and all of us girls wanted to go some where for lunch or go home. Personally I rather go somewhere for lunch I said to them.

It was Friday and George's Burger was down the street from school said Shay. Normally on Friday's we don't get homework Well what are we waiting for let's go. Just a second Cindy said don't you want to ask someone if they want to join us for lunch. Besides who else are we going to get to pay for our lunch? Shay said. I said you do have a point there. Oh boys Cailee said to Cameron, Jackson and Monty would you like to have lunch with us? My Wolf leaped in my head at the idea of being next to our mate even if she didn't know it yet.

When we were all at George's Burger we all started talking about my birthday coming up this weekend. So what are you planning for your birthday? Well I just want a small party and my Wolf to come, but knowing my mom she is going to make a big deal out of it since it is my eighteenth birthday. My dad says he will try to keep her from over doing it. Although once my mom gives him that look he is putty in her hands.

The weekend came sooner than I thought and my birthday party wasn't until tonight. I woke up this morning with someone saying hello in my head. Hello Cailee I'm your wolf and my name is Elsa.

I jump up and down excitedly because I got my Wolf. I have never been so happy in my life to see my Wolf. How are you Elsa? I'm good and I've been waiting a long time for the moon goddess to send me to the right human. What do you mean the right human? I ask.

In all due time my Cailee I just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday! Ugh I get up off my bed and head to the bathroom to shower and do my business. Once I'm out the shower, dry off and get dressed I head downstairs. It was Saturday so my parents and baby brother all probably still sleeping. So I decide to cook breakfast and make some coffee and Juice. Just as I finish with making breakfast my parents come down the stairs with my baby brother. They see that I've made breakfast and they each give me a kiss on the cheek wishing me a happy birthday.

Once everyone is seated at the table they ask me how do I feel this morning? I tell them that I got my Wolf and her name is Elsa. Well that is a pretty name my dad says.

Enough about that are you ready for your party tonight? mom asks me. Definitely ready I say now there will be plenty of food, music, soda, water and alcohol right I ask. Of course sweetie there will be sweetie.

Before I knew it was night and everyone started to arrive to my birthday party. Everything was in full swing there was food, music, soda, water and alcohol. Now we as werewolves can consume alcohol as much as we like since it doesn't phase us unlike humans. I was watching everyone have a great time and watching my best friend enjoy herself too. That was until the last person I expected to show up at my birthday party. It was none other than Yvette Moreno and her two friends behind her.

Shay and Cindy come up to me and asked me what are they doing here? You didn't invite everyone from the school did you? I'm not the one who invited everyone. It was my mom and you know how she likes everyone. Even if some were bullies to me in middle school. You know she is more of let bygones be bygones.

Well I could give you one reason why she's here Cindy said. It's so that she can get her claws on our next Alpha who just happens to be Cameron. Hello Cailee Yvette says, hello Yvette I say. She says well I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday! You know I really wasn't expecting you to show up at my party. Why wouldn't I Yvette says. Well maybe because you gave me H E double hockey sticks through middle school and part of highschool. I'm sorry about that I was insecure and afraid that you would take my friends away from me. No need for that when I can make my own friends I say. All the while her eyes were actually looking at Cameron. Then she left to go talk to Cameron. Shay says I hope she finds her mate soon, because I wouldn't want her for a Luna. Cindy and I couldn't agree more with her.

Yvette headed over to Cameron while he was talking with his friends. She started talking and laughing. Oh Cameron you're such a hoot. Did you find your mate yet? Well if you haven't yet and you are looking I hope that it is me you're looking for. That's when Cameron, his friends Jackson and Monty choked on their drinks. Oh I am so sorry Yvette I didn't mean to be rude there. But if and when I do find my mate I have a strong feeling that it won't be you.

Unbeknownst to her he already did find his mate. He just hadn't told anyone because his mate doesn't know he's her mate. Brice my Wolf was laughing at what I said to Yvette.

I was standing there watching her fawn all over Cameron as if she didn't have any shame to be throwing herself at the next Alpha. All Cameron could do was be polite to her and somewhat uncomfortable about her touching him.

I don't know but I was feeling kind of funny about Yvette being next to him. I just shook it off and went to go find my mom.

I found my mom in the kitchen and said I know you invited people from the pack, but did you have to invite Yvette too. You know I believe in turning the other cheek Cailee. She wasn't all that bad was she? Didn't she wish you a Happy Birthday. That was because she was drooling at the mouth at looking at Cameron.

Well I do have to say that is not all that bad looking for a young Wolf and she winked at me. Mom eww that's just weird and then there was a growl coming from my dad. There was a glow coming from his blue eyes. Don't get your knickers in huff, you know that I only have eyes for you Chad. My dad came up and hugged her inhaled her scent and that seem to calm him and his Wolf down. Then right there in the kitchen my mom and dad started kissing. Oh my goodness can't you at least wait until I'm at least out of eyesight? My mom spoke and said just wait until you find your mate sweetie and then you won't be doing so much talking. Yes, mom I know that the mate bond is the sacred thing you can have.
