Julia's POV I kept glaring at Aurora's stomach to see if it was true. As if Aurora knew my thoughts, she swiftly laid her hands on her stomach, rubbing it gently. “ Oh dear, I must be really tired” she said while trying to ensure I noticed her pregnancy. Aurora's POV I sat in my chambers wrapped with a blanket, crying eyes out. For two days now, I haven't stepped a foot outside my chambers but Alpha Damien never cared. He wasn't interested in my existence and had become completely different towards me. I thought Julia's disappearance and being pregnant with Damien's child would save a nine. Julia's POV The mention of Aurora's name by Alpha Damien suddenly brought back past memories in my mind. “ Aurora saved you?” I asked Damien, my voice weak. Damien patted my hair holding a weak smile. “ Yes, Julia. Aurora intervened quickly and that was why I didn't die from the strange illness” he explained to me. I kept quiet and didn't reply to Damien because I knew it was the same Aurora who fired the deadly illness on him. Her aim was cryptic, to make Damien hers forever and to destroy me completely. But all of these were oblivious to Damien and I was sure Aurora thinks I am dead also. “ How is Aurora doing? I never asked after her. Is she well?” I asked, showing a weak smile. Glaring at Damien, I could see regret written all over his face. Julia's POV Silence settled. The wind withheld its gale. All the trees that swayed earlier steadied; like they had seen a greater force coming and they decided to stay calm and collective.I watch with rapt attention.
