Alpha Damien's POV

“Alpha Damien.” Beta Aurora called my name romantically and she pecked me by the side of my cheek. “Your mood have changed after the last moon ceremony. What is troubling you, My Alpha.” She spoke respectfully with her usual sweet voice.

I was irritated by that voice this time around. Beta Aurora was not close to Julia in terms of care, obedience, manners of speech and house chores.

I never thought I felt something for Julia until when she left. I discovered there was a significant part of me missing.

But yesternight night, after setting my eyes on the silver necklace and witnessing it's power. I want to wield that kind of power. But it was on the neck of Julia… I never knew that the lady I called weak was that powerful.

‘Capture her!’ I remembered as my deep voice echoed through the atmosphere. My soldiers went after her but suddenly…

‘Boom!’ There was an explosion that caused a widespread flame. All my soldiers were almost suffocated. Just after the smoke cleared she was nowhere to be found.

Somebody helped her escape even though I had her in my grasp. For the first time in my life, I felt incapable and I hate that feeling.

“I want Julia back. I regret letting her out of my grip.” I spoke with my emotions throbbing and Aurora shot a deadly glare at me with a spiteful growl.

She scoffed. “You want your ex back now, huh! I thought you said she was weak and you can't have anything to do with her. What changed?” She arched her eyebrows. Her smile turned pale while she stared at me with disgust.

“Are you that blind that you can't see what happened today? Anybody who wields that kind of power can't be an omega and neither can she be a Beta. I am afraid she might definitely be an Alpha.” I spoke with tension in my voice while my heart growled to see her.

Aurora sucked her tongue and she arched her eyebrows. “It's funny that you now see the power she wields. Do you regret dumping her?” She curled her eyes and asked that question.

I became as silent as the grave and I turned to look at her face. Her eyes twinkled like a star. “Are you jealous of her?” My voice was rigid and firm as my eyes peered into hers.

She sighed and winked her eyes slowly. “I love you, Alpha Damien and I am hurt by your constant crave for Julia. Can you just bury her in your past?” She asked with a low voice. Her emotions were on each statement. It was as if she wanted to cry.

“Of course, anything for you, my dear.” I lied to her and pulled her into my warm embrace. I used my palm to rub her back just for her to feel secure.

‘Over my dead body will I bury Julia in my past. I promise to find her no matter what it takes me.’ My heart growled as I made that decision within me. ‘And you, Aurora, I chose you over Julia because of your power and I never loved you.  Since I haven't found Julia, I will keep you close just to feel the gap.’ I felt no remorse within me.

“I love you, Alpha Damien.” Beta Aurora's wolf growled with excitement as she said those statements to me.

But I didn't respond because I knew I didn't feel the same for her. ‘Julia, where are you?’

Julia's POV

‘Coughs out!’ I forced my eyes open as I raised my back and gasped for breath. My eyes searched around the environment. I was hurriedly as tension held my heart.

‘Where am I?’ I had to ask myself that question. The environment was unfamiliar when I gazed around the room. I realized I was on a bed.

‘What is this place?’ I asked myself while I placed my leg on the ground. Flashes of memories of what happened at the last moon ceremony came to my head. I placed my hand on my chest to see if I still had the silver necklace.

The door creaks open. An unfamiliar face walked in with an imposing aura. He was masculine and his face looks tough.

At this sight, I was terrified. “Who are you?” I asked with a distant tone and I stood on my feet, being defensive.

Without saying a word, he drew closer and my heart beat with fear with the thoughts he was going to hurt me.

Just when he got closer and I thought he was going to hit me, he went on his knees and bowed his head. “Alpha Julia, you are awake. It's nice to finally meet you.” He spoke with respect.

I was taken aback with shock. My eyes glared at him with absolute tension and disbelief. “An Alpha?! What is going on here?” I yelled with fear.

“I am sorry that I didn't introduce myself properly. I am Beta Ambrose, the loyal servant to the Wades Bloodline.” He introduced himself and I was still more confused.

“I do not care about who you are and what you stand for. What am I doing here? And why are you calling me an Alpha. The last time I checked, I was an omega. I think you got the wrong person.”

“I am not mistaken. You activated the silver necklace which has been passed down the Wades generation  over centuries in front of everyone and that's impossible for a common omega. Alpha Damien ordered for your capture and I had no choice than to save you from his claws. That is why you are in my inn.” He explained in detail.

I grunted slowly and flashed back to what my mother said to me. ‘I found my identity. I am an Alpha.’ It echoed within me.

But something was puzzling. If this man knows this much about the Wades, does it mean? My eyes widened in realization.

“Are you from the Dark Knight pack?” I asked with curiosity.

“Yes, Alpha.”

“You didn't die? I thought all the members of the Dark Knight pack died and only one woman escaped while some were left to be tortured.” I arched my eyebrows.

“My ancestors escaped and I was told the story of how loyal my family is to the Wades. I have been waiting for the silver necklace to reappear. That's the only way I can recognise the Alpha of the Dark night pack.” He explained.

‘If his ancestors escaped, it means many Dark night pack members are still alive. How do we find them?’

“In that case, Do you know where the rest of the Dark Night pack members are?” I asked him.

“No. Everyone is living in fear and in secret. I doubt if any of them can show their faces if they are still alive.”

“Are we still in the Blood Night pack?” I asked him.

“Yes. I hid you here and it can only take a while before Alpha Damien finds you. I heard he has been looking for you endlessly since yesterday night.” He explained.

“If he has been looking for me, is my mother safe?” I widened my eyes.

“I don't think so.” Immediately he gave that reply, my heart beat hard against my chest.

“I must see my mother immediately. Nothing must happen to her.” I said, sharply moving out of his sight.

“Alpha! You can't behave rashly…”  I didn't listen to him and I rushed back home  but he followed me all along.

Upon getting home, “mummy!” I called her but there was no response. With fear, I opened the door and went inside the house, but there was no sign of anyone in the house.

“No, No,No!  This is not good! My mother is nowhere to be found. I think she has been captured!” I looked into the eyes of Beta Ambrose with fear and panic as I spoke.

“We need to save my mother by all means.” Just after saying that, “KO!Ko!KO!” Someone knocks at the door.

“Could that be my mother?” I said aloud and rushed to open the door forgetting that there was an enemy lurking just to get hold of me. Upon opening, I was greeted with the shock of my life.

A woman with an imposing aura and a long sword was right before me, “Hello, Julia!” She spoke with a terrific voice. Her hand held the sword firmly.

  • Alpha Damien’s Regret.   Chapter 13

Julia's POVShe was walking toward me with that same confident, slick strut. I intended to ignore her, but she blocked me every time I tried to turn away.I raised my gaze and glared at her. Her lips twitched as she folded her arms and stared past me, then brought her eyes back to mine."Did you think I didn’t see that? That you were talking to someone just now?"I met her gaze, unflinching. If Aurora thought she could scare me with her words again, she was about to be humiliated.I smiled. "Aurora, who exactly did you see?""A man," she spat, her lips curling.I laughed, and so did she, but hers carried venom."So you’re meeting a man in secret?" she continued, her voice thick with mockery. "I wonder how Damien would react if he knew the woman he calls his Luna was sneaking around behind his back."She gave another wicked laugh. "You wouldn’t just be kicked out. He would make sure you never come back.""Really?" I asked without blinking."What’s more ironic," I said, stepping closer,

JulianWhen I slowly opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was confusion flashing across his face. He raised an eyebrow but said nothing. Then he let out a short snort, trying and failing to mask whatever emotion was clawing at his chest. He leaned back slightly on the bed and dropped the towel onto the nightstand. That cold, untouchable Alpha act? He wore it like armor. But I could see through him. Beneath that mask was a man barely holding himself together.I shifted upright slowly. My wolf stirred within me, already trying to mend the damage from the fire, but the sharp pain in my throat still lingered. I winced and cleared my throat, not breaking eye contact with him.For a moment, neither of us spoke. The silence stretched between us, heavy with unspoken things. He sat across from me, and just for a second, I saw a flash of the Alpha I used to dream about. The one I once longed for. Then he leaned closer, his voice low and steady.“Whoever was behind this… they’ll pay. I swear it

Julian“Why is she still unconscious? Do something, anything! Does she need medicine? Blood? Herbs? Just make sure she wakes up!"The voice boomed like a storm through the haze in my mind.My eyelids fluttered, heavy as if someone had poured molten iron over them. Why did everything feel so... distant? My lungs burned. My body ached. Where am I?Even half-conscious, my body tensed instinctively at the sound of his voice. But this time, there was something else woven into it.Panic? Why was he worried?Out of the corner of my blurred vision, I caught sight of him, Alpha Damien towering over the trembling healer like a beast on the brink of snapping. One of them trembled under his furious gaze.“Please, calm down!" one healer tried to reason with him."Calm down?" Damien scoffed. "It's been over an hour, and she still hasn’t regained consciousness. And you’re telling me to calm down?”“She must have inhaled too much smoke. Her lungs appear slightly damaged,” another healer explained. “S

  • Alpha Damien’s Regret.   Chapter 10

Julia’s POV Damien ignored Aurora like she was a passing itch. His fingers tightened around mine, warm but firm, and he led me toward a group of overdressed dignitaries who smelled like power and pine oil. I hated it. I hated the way my hand felt in his, like a prop, a token of status. I played along though, smiling, bowing, sipping from yet another glass of wine, but my mind wasn’t in the room.Aurora wouldn’t take this lying down. She never did. That girl had enough ego to power a city. She'd looked like she wanted to murder someone when Damien announced I’d be meeting the RegalWolf Pack with him. She didn’t speak to me, didn’t even glance in my direction after the scene, but I knew it wasn't over. The women were chatty, wanting to discuss the latest fashion trends, and how an Omega was able to marry a powerful Alpha. But I wasn't interested in the conversation, grossly irritated by their guts. Eventually, I slipped away. The ball was noisy—too many violins, too many forced lau

  • Alpha Damien’s Regret.   Chapter 9

Julia's POV It would be better to leave Damien unsuspecting, Alpha Ambrose had advised me, but it was nearly impossible to keep all of this under my hat. I wanted to grab Damien by the face and break his neck. I wanted him to suffer! His ancestors were thieves and he had profited from the spoils of their wars all his life. It was about time it ended. After I met with Ambrose in the dark crypt, I wore my cloak around my head and snuck back to my chambers. Dinner had been served on the dining table in the corner of the room and the air was thick with the smell of scented candles. "Who are you?" The question flew out of my mouth, right after I spotted a tall redhead girl walking out of my bathroom. "Oh, your grace, you're back." She moved towards me and bowed. "I just finished drawing water for your bath. What kind of fragrance do you like? Flowers or spicy scents?" "Oh really," I scoffed and walked past her. "Did Damien instruct you to do this? And what is the meaning of all this? I

  • Alpha Damien’s Regret.   Chapter 8

Julia’s pov.The darkness wasn't helping matters, I slept and wished for the light of the day, hoping to hear responses from Alpha Damien. He woke up the next day as he walked straight into my room with his hands across his back. “Good morning Julia, my Luna” he greeted, flashing a smile but all I discovered inside me at the moment was just hatred for an evil man like him. “Alpha Damien, we had a discussion yesterday, are you here to grant me my wish?” I asked. “Just to let you know how much I loved you, yes I want to grant your wish”He said and I was a bit shocked, the feelings of disbelief covered me. I smiled inside me but kept a mean face.He handed over half of his soldiers to me. I was happy at this moment knowing my steps towards accomplishing my mission had begun. A day passed by, and a rogue war happened, I experienced what I had never experienced in my life before. When the sun was up in the sky, alpha Damien heard a report that some strange wolves had killed four of
