“We will find him. I will make sure of that”
“You’re really not going to run?”
I don’t know how much Tasha had told Mia but she obviously thought I was going to abandon her. A lot of things had changed since I had accepted my role fully. It had made me mentally and physically stronger.
“No Mia, I am not going anywhere”
“Promise?”
I crouch down in front of her, although this girls looked like they were eighteen and had matured quickly, they had only been in this world for a few years and all they had really known was war and a rubbish Queen.
“I promise Mia, I am not going anywhere”
A small smile spreads across her lips and she rushes across the room to me, wrapping her arms tightly around my waist.
I tell the girls that I need some time to think but also asked them to work together to see if Taylor could undo what Mia had done to their mother. Taylor groaned
