“Boss,” Valentina, my club manager said, smiling at me. She was in charge of managing the girls at the club, ensuring that they were both safe and tended to their work the way that I wanted them to.

“Valentina,” I said, nodding at her before she nodded at Viktor who smiled. She extended her hand to us, inviting us to sit. We both sat down and she nodded at the bartender to get us drinks. I shook my head at her, currently not in the mood for drinking anything. The last thing that I needed was to give into my anger while drunk.

“How are things going here?” I asked, noticing that despite it being evening, the place was empty. That wasn’t like the place, especially on weekends.

“Not so well lately, I don’t know if you heard, but Lorenzo De Mori decided to open a club across from us. The girls are Italians, and most are seductresses by nature.
