“So what now? We are looking for murderers? Is Alpha James really capable of this?” Vic had his hands crossed over his chest.
Scott answered him. “He’s done it before. This seemed more personal though. Usually he just sweeps through, kills, and moves on. This was a show.”
“Well, if he wanted the Fey council riled up, he’s going to get it.” I added, leaning against the tree. I was now covered in blood. I wiped my hands on my shorts.
“Did you want me to go with you?” Vic looked at me, he was upset that one of his own had done this.

***Desmond’s POV***I nearly pounded Glenn’s head into the sidewalk. I felt like I had made progress with Olivia. She opened up a little, allowing me in and allowing me to help. For the umpteenth time today, I wondered how I had gotten here. A glass of bourbon in my hand as I leaned over the bar.
