Chapter 9 - Captive

I am scared to death now. He took a step towards me, and I panicked. I took the gun from my shoe and shot him a couple of times. He let out a heart-wrenching howl and fell to his knees. His canines went back into his gums automatically, the injuries that were previously healing stopped healing, and his glowing hazel eyes were not as bright now, but the rage in his eyes was still clearly visible.

“You are a huntress,” he said, trying to get up on his feet again, but I went towards him and hit his head with the butt of the gun. He growled lightly before losing consciousness and falling to the ground with his back facing upwards.

I looked around and saw a dead body lying a little away. I ran over, but I couldn’t identify what creature it was. All I can see is a lot of flesh and fur, which suggests that some rogue trespassed in this territory. I came back to an unconscious Diego. The darts that I shot him with were enough to keep him unconscious for a few hours.

What if I kill him right
