Alessia’s POV

“Cherie” Ezekiel stood from the chair and came towards me. Mark was also present.

“What’s going on?” I murmured as I saw those pictures. My mouth parted slightly but no words came out. This cannot be real.

“It’s…” by then I was already standing near the edge of the table as Ezekiel came and stood beside me.

“What’s this?” I murmured. Too quietly for my liking.

I looked at the pictures laid on the table. They were pictures of Falcon and I together. Anyone who sees those pictures can assume that we are in a relationship. But only I knew the truth. Our moments were captured in such a way as if to show that I was cheating.

“Is that why you were saying my reputation will be at risk?” I murmured softly.

Ezekiel turned me to face him “Cherie, look at me” his voice equally soft.

“Answer me” I said instead.

He let’s out a sigh “Yes, they were given by Ellie to me today”

I finally looked at him and all the tension I just felt vanished in a spur of moment.
