Alessia’s POV

“Here” I looked around. Falcon brought me back to my old pack. My own pack.

“I thought perhaps you would want sometime away from him” he looked at me.

Moving forward, I hugged him crying “How could he do this to me”

“It’s going to be okay” he rubbed my back. Nothing seems to be working. The hawk had no idea how it is to be betrayed.

As if reading my mind, he said “I know”

Moving back, I stared at him “What?”

“I might not know what betrayal feels like” he started.

“But I know exactly how it feels to see someone you like being with the other”

“Don’t go there” I hissed.

“We are not mates. Your feelings are one sided. Ezekiel however was my mate” I snapped.

“He still is” he pointed out.

“You don’t need to remind me. I am well aware about it” I muttered.

“You are at your pack. I think I shall take your leave” he said to me.

“Thank you for bringing me here” I looked at him.

“Anytime” he murmured. Not his usual behavior. He seemed distance.
