Alessia’s POV

Reaching the pack for dinner as I had promised, I entered our house. Ezekiel was watching some crime thriller on tv.

“You are back” he smiled at me and did a double take when he saw the hawk resting on my shoulder.

“Yup” I smiled back at him.

“So, this is the one whom you rescued today?” Ezekiel asked as I settled down beside him on the sofa.

“Yes. I found him on our territory. Once he is fine, I let him go in the nature where he belongs to” I murmured.

“Good” Ezekiel tried to touch it but instead of accepting the gesture, falcon the hawk, pecked its pointed beak on Ezekiel’s hand drawing out blood.

“Falcon” I chided him with a glare.

“You, okay?” I turned my attention to Ezekiel.

“Yeah” Ezekiel is full-blood Lycan so he healed fast.

“He does not seem to like me” Ezekiel muttered as he stared at the Falcon who was now sitting near our living room window after I glared at him. He has quiet an attitude.

“He is cautious of strangers” I corrected.
